We let Boston come back in the 4th last night so they could lose by 7. we have one our last four games and the next four are at home they include...the much improved Lakers and Raptors, the "O.K." Clippers and the Contenders in the Spurs.with our home fans, we should be able to win all four and take an 8-game win streak into the All-Star Break.
I'm afraid of the Lakers and the Spurs, and I think the Raptors could pull the upset. But, with the way that McDyess and Webber are shooting, I don't think we can be beat.
The Pistons made it look rather easy tonight against the Lakers winning 93-78. The only concern I have for the rest of the season is the bench play, there are times where they kind of resemble the 04 "Alternatorz" but then tonight they looked pretty awful. I know they got the W and that is all that matters but it is a totally different story in the playoffs. I think McDyess, Hunter and Delfino can hold their own and I think if Nazr gets a shot he could be a contributor off the bench if he stays out of foul trouble.I tried a trade on espn's trade machine, I proposed a Flip Murray for Jalen Rose deal and it worked. Rose seems to be rotting at the end of the Suns bench and every Piston fan saw Murray fall out of the rotation. If not Rose then Joe D should really try to push for Juan Dixon, possibly Murray and Dupree for Dixon then I think the Pistons rotation could be set:C. WebberPF. WallaceSF. PrinceSG. HamiltonPG. Billupspf. McDyesspg. Hunterg. Rose/Dixonsg. Delfinopf. MaxiellC. MohammedC. DavisI just think the Pistons are missing one more piece to the bench a point/combo guard like Rose or Dixon. I feel bad for Maxiell who was starting to come into his own but I understand the Pistons want to win a title by acquiring Webber and we all know Maxiell will get his chance. HoLLa baCk
well, I dont think we need to trade anyone, and our rotation just has a few wrinkles that need to be ironed(wow, I've never heard anyone ever say that.lol) I think if we do that the rotation should bePG: Billups-Hunter-MurraySG: Hamilton-Delfino-MurraySF: Prince-Maxiell-McDyessPF: Wallace-McDyess-WebberC: Webber-Mohammed-Daviswe should be able to give all of these guys time. it will be hard, but I dont see anything wrong with it. but I agree that Nazr should be getting more time.as for last nights game...Kobe got stripped by Chauncey at least 4 or 5 times, he still got 18 but the 8 TO's really stand out and C-Webb had a great game with 18-11. Tay led all scorers with 20 and Sheed had 18 as well, but they got a good win, even though it was a bit ugly. but you cant expect everything to be all good. I like our type of game where everyone is getting points. but I agree that we need to use our bench more.

It's been quiet as expected from the Pistons front so maybe Joe D and the rest of the front office is satisfied but adding a scorer off the bench might help especially since we have 6 big men on the roster.I think as of right now Maxiell can't back up Prince at the 3 like Williamson did in 04, maybe in another year or two but he is more suited at the 4.
