<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">He's a late comer to the scene, but it hasn't taken long for freshman Chris Bosh to make a name for himself in the NBA Draft. Bosh, a 6-foot-11, 225-pound forward from Texas (he played at Georgia Tech), only recently decided to keep his name in the draft and hire an agent. Since then, he's strung together several impressive workouts for the Bulls, Heat and Pistons. Today he's in Toronto and is scheduled to go to Denver this weekend. Bosh's workout with the Pistons raised a few eyebrows. GM Joe Dumars said last week that the team would draft Darko Milicic with the second pick in the draft. However, Bosh wanted to work out for the Pistons anyway. He left everyone on the staff very impressed. "He's going to be a real special player," one Pistons source told ESPN. "He reminds me of kind of a young Tim Duncan. He's just so solid fundamentally. His ability to play both inside and outside is very intriguing. And, he's a great young man." While some teams worry that Bosh might be a few years away because of his slight build, the Pistons aren't that worried. "He does need to gain a little weight and get stronger," the source said. "But you could say that about 90 percent of the young players in the draft. He's not that far away." The Pistons aren't the only ones who believe that. The Raptors are leaning toward taking Bosh with the No. 4 pick, a league source told ESPN. They've also worked out T. J. Ford, Chris Kaman and Pavel Podkolzine. All three players worked out well, but none of them did enough to dissuade the Raptors from taking Bosh. If Bosh works out well today alongside KU's Nick Collison, he'll be a lock for No. 4. </div> We are drafting darko..but bosh wanted to work-out for detroit anyway..and joe dumars likes him....joe dumars is setting up a trade folks...so we get the 2nd and the 4th pick..knowing joe D...he would do a thing like this..wouldn't be surprised to see him do it.Either that or he is talking up bosh so raptors get a bad deal and make then a worse team..take your pick
I'm guessing cliffy, corliss and chucky are all likely players who could be traded...i'm only guessing joe would try and make a trade here...because he stated he was going to add to the roster in maybe a trade...we traded stack last year remember...he is not afraid to make a big trade even with a great team
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting "knicks235":</div><div class="quote_post">a trade wont happen</div> Joe D will make a trade..i'm sure of it
Chucky, cliff, corliss and okur..al guys that raptors could use..chucky is a good PG..corliss former 6th man of the year..okur good young player..dumars is a great GM...and can make GM's do trades that hurt them...but i doubt we will try and trade for the 4th pick....we don't need to rebuild...so i hope we don't trade for it...but i do think we will make a trade
you guys should trade for Carmello too. Then you can have the #2, #3, and #4. Maybe you can also trade for Miami's pick.
Don't be stupid...we didn't work out with melo..he cancelled it..joe D is a guy that would try and trade for another pick....we will make a trade but likely not this one..but pistons do like bosh..
who on earth could you trade? please don't say chucky or corliss or memo. you couldn't get a top 15 with those guys. (yes I know corliss won 6th man, big deal. so did aaron mckie and he sucks.)
I wouldn't trade even trade those 3/4 for the 4th pick..they are important members of our team...i don't want us to trade for the 4th pick..but it has been mentioned....dumars likes bosh.....and was really impressed....but give me darko, ben and juwan that will do nicely
those guys are easy to replace, especially if you get howard. you don't think they have as much value as the #4 do you? if detroit for some stupid reason decided to rebuild?
corliss, chucky and and memo are important players..which help our team win games...we don't need to rebuild and have the 4th pick....the 2nd pick is fine....and adding howard...in a sign and trade..then maybe sign another player.
