Last night's game was a great one. Started with a bang and ended the same way. Maddox drove the Steelers right down the field with the help of Staley to give it away inside the 10 on a Staley fumble. Other than the fumble, the offense was clicking on all cylinders. Maddox was sharp, Staley ran hard, Ward looked in top form, the offensive line was creating holes for Staley and giving Maddox time to throw. It was nice to see everything working so well. The downside was the defense. They didn't attack as much as I thought they would, but I'm sure LeBeau is holding back a bit. Polamalu looks like the next leader on that defense. He has matured from last season and looks poised to so some great things.

Cowher is going to have a tough time keeping Roethlisberger at #2. He looked great last night. Athletic and accurate, poised in the pocket and didn't force anything. Dare I say a bigger John Elway? It's only one game, so I'm not going to get too carried away, but he's exciting to watch. It should be a great season. Watch out for the Steelers AFC, they look good!
