Re: PJ's Bad Day Well today I, pjcolpitts had a horrible day. Not as bad as Reppin's day the other day, but none the less, a bad day in the life of PJColpitts. If ya'll don't know, I go to school and have a part time job at a local convienent store not too far from my house. So this evening I go to work and I have to work until the store closes at 12:00. Well I get there and seemed like all day the only money I recieved from people was just loose change. So if you didnt know, at the end of your shift you have to count all the money in your drawer to see if you are under or over the amount of money that you should have. Well since I have all this loose change, it takes me about 15 to 20 minutes extra to count all of it. Also, I couldnt roll any of it since we ran out of rollers. So I had about $14 in quarters, 25 in dimes, 3 in nickels and 15 in pennies. Thank god $10 dollars of the pennies was rolled. I'd been there forever. So I close the store down after all that crap and go out to my truck and start it up and drive off. Now to the 2nd phase of the bad day. For some background info, I live about 3 to 4 miles away from my job. Also, my truck gas gauge is broken, so its kind of hard to tell how much gas is in the truck once it gets past half a tank. To make a long story short, I misjudged how much gas I had in my truck and had to end up parking it an empty lot on the street. Oh it gets better, I left my cell phone at my house because it was dead. Now I'm actually closer to the store I work at, but all the doors are locked and once you set the alarm, there is no getting back in. So I cant walk back and fill up or call the house so someone can pick me up. So I start walking and remember its now about 12:30 in the morning and I live somewhat on the outskirts of town. Not a lot of traffic at night. So I'm walking along and just my luck of course, there isnt 1 place open where I can call. I end up having to walk about 2.5 miles to the next store. There I call my house, but of course no answer. I'm still about a mile away from my house. Finally my grandmother answers and comes and picks me up. Now also, its about 35 to 40 degrees outside and the wind is blowing like hell. Of course I wasnt wearing cross training shoes either. I was wearing a pair of Chuck Taylor Converses which everyone knows dont work well when you have to walk a long distance. I now have blisters starting on my feet. Hurts like hell. After that, we go to Wal-Mart and get a gas can and fill it up and go back to my truck and then I drive it down the street to fill it up. I dont know about how much gas is in your neck of the woods, but over here it is 2.14 per gallon. I go ahead and fill my truck up which has a 27 gallon tank. It costs me about 60 dollars to fill it up. :thumbdn1: Anyways, this was my bad day and decided to share it. Thank God its over.
Re: PJ's Bad Day Haha this seems like a movie, bad thing after another bad thing. At least nothing happened to you.
Re: PJ's Bad Day That really does suck. But, I'm not going to lie, while I was reading it and you said you were walking all alone at night I was waiting for you to say you got jumped and stuff... but good thing that didn't happen, right. If only those damn customers didn't give you a sh*t load of loose change...Glad everything is fine man.
Re: PJ's Bad Day Ha, that'd just been too much. Luckily I wasnt on a bad side of town, because I'd defanitly would of got jumped and had my Ipod, wallet, and keys stolen.
