Not only should he not be mad at the Nets, he should be thanking them for buying him out in the first place. The Nets could have kept him for longer, and he would never get the chance to show his skill or get playing time.

Saying, "Thanks for signing me in the first place and never getting me play time, but later buying me out" sounds ridiculous.

My point is that he should be thankful that the Nets did not hurt him.

It's like screwing someone over, but later helping them out wanting a thanks. You were the reason in the first place he was put in that situation, why should he give thanks? I would understand more that he is mad rather than the Nets organization asking for thanks.
