Which player more than any other could have or nearly signed for your club, which you regret missing out on over recent years? For United alot of people will suggest Ronaldinho, Shearer, Robben... but I think Michael Essien would have been a top replacement for Keano and he is now showing this at Chelsea! He has been their main man this year for them, his strong, athletic and box to box like Keano was in his prime. :cry:

It's hard to name anyone for Chelsea in recent years as they've pretty much purchased everyone or a suitable replace to the anyone they target. I am disappointed that Chelsea never targeted any of the Juventus elite, like Ibrahimović, Cannavaro, Thuram, Zambrotta, Emerson etc... It's safe to say they don't need any of them (would any even be good enough to start infront of the current squad? ), so it's not a regret just more of me being a greedy cunt. Biggest regret is to Chelsea is letting the one and only Zola leave for some crap Italian team.
