What makes it more impressive is when you consider how many shots down field the Chargers' take. The beginning half of the season, all they did was air the ball down field. For the shots that they've taken, only 6 INTs is incredible. Hell, 3 of them were off of tipped passes that SHOULD have been caught. I wish that was a stat, because he'd have only 3 true interceptions. Gates numbers are damn impressive this year. Teams are having to choose between guarding him or Jackson, and that still leaves Malcom Floyd out there. To start the year, teams were neglecting Jackson and he raced out of the gates..haha, ironic...but teams have adjusted to that and are now focusing on stopping the long ball to him, which is leaving Gates wide open over the middle constantly.
Rivers has definitely shown some impressive accuracy. Although it has to be said that he plays with a receiving core that makes it very easy to throw those "only my guy can reach it" passes.
