Kobe and Billups are players of the week ATLANTA, Feb. 3 -- Detroit Pistons guard Chauncey Billups and Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant today were named the Eastern Conference and Western Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for games played Monday, January 27 through Sunday, February 2. Billups averaged 22.3 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists as the Pistons finished the week with a 3-0 record. Bryant 40.0 points, 4.3 rebounds and 4.3 assists in leading the Lakers to a 3-0 record. Billups had a very great start against both the celts and nets. He has played better than average this week thats why he is one of the playas of the week.
yeah. They give it to not so good players if they improve. Actually, they see the team that did best, and pick the player that did best from that team. I donno why O'Neal got it. The Pacers didn't do so well this month.
