Either cause of their game, or because of what they say/how they conduct themselves, etc. For me: Stephon Marbury - haven't had a good perception of him since the whole "I'm the best point guard in the league" comments when he had led his teams to zero 2nd round appearances Milt Palacio - used to hate him when he used to play for the Raptors...the guy runs 90 miles per hour down the court and takes a wild "layup" that often bounces off the backboard and ends up hitting him in the head (ok I made that last part up) Kevin Willis - yet another player I didn't like when he was playing with the Raptors...the guy would always do that annoying hook shot that ended up missing half the times Antoine Walker Simply because of that shimmy shake thing he does. When he does it in combination with the whole "lazy look", it just makes him look like an idiot and I can't believe he hasn't realized this himself. Bruce Bowen I've hated him always cause he always tries to injure Vince (it's been 3 times now) and it's blatantly obvious. I especially began disliking the guy when I saw that clip of him in NJ blatantly trying to injure Vince and when VC comes running at him he raises up his arms and says "I didn't do anything"...perhaps the most annoying thing I have ever seen in an NBA game cause you can just see that he clearly knocks Vince down, yet he tries to play it off when Vince comes back to kick his ass . Knowing his past history, if I was Vince, I would have knocked the **** out of him for trying it again; that kind of stuff can seriously injure a player.
Tim Ducan: The way he plays is very boring, and that look he has on his face just makes me want to slap him. And the fact that he shoots of the backboard is also annoying. He doesn't seem athletic, he just does that stupid post up move of his and the calls always seem to go in his favor. Richard Hamilton: Just the fact that he seems to be lights out everytime he plays agianst the Nets. In the playoffs, I was about to explode because he didn't seem to miss. I still hate him to this day. All he does is shoot that freaking jump shoot from like 12 feet away, and it seems like thats the only thing he is capable of doing.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">And the fact that he shoots of the backboard is also annoying</div> I actually love his bank shot, takes quite a lot of skill and practice to shoot it from different angles and get it in every time
Bruce Bowen-for the reasons you mentioned above. Ray Allen shoulda busted his jaw last season when he had the chance, we weren't gonna make the playoffs anyway. Tim Duncan- again, same reasons. that damn look on his face, the boring game. Manu Ginobili- the way he flobs and cuz of his hair, it seems as if he got hit by a semi truck each time he flops. Alright thats all the Spurs that annoy me.... Luke Ridnour- i hate when he drives in the lane...either he circles out back to the 3 pt line or he throws up that...weird hook shot that goes in 25% of the time. that's all I can think of off the top of my head...
In no particular order: Mike James - The honeymoon lasted about 2 months for me last season. While people were still praising his shooting and scoring ability, I began to realize how selfish he was and much of a headache he was going to be, if we signed him long-term. The whole "I don't need to change to get the money I deserve" even bothered Chris Bosh by the end of the season, and I'm glad he's gone. Stephon Marbury - It just bothers me that, he has had every oppurtunity a player could dream for, and he continues to blow it. First off, he's blessed with natural ability and can rack up assists so easily, even without really looking for his teammates. And then, on top of that, he's continued to mess up great situations for himself. Whether it was Minnesota (playing with KG), NJ (being the number 1 guy), PHX (having the perfect run-and-gun style), or NY (hometown), he's never seem to put it together. Alonzo Mourning - I'm sure I've stated my reasons lots of times, but it has less to do with his gameplay, or even his off-the-court life. I've always been annoyed with the way he just thought he was a given that he should be on a contending team when he hit the later years of his career. I can't stand people who don't honour their contracts, as then act as if they're ones being victimized. Vince Carter - As a Toronto fan, I think it's rather obvious why he annoys me. And the worst part is, I don't want to dislike him. If he had simply asked for a trade straight up, I wouldn't have minded (I mean it would've been understandable, considering the constant shuffling of our front office). But he refused to look at how promising the situation could have been. And he basically wasted half of the 04-05 season, with his refusal to just own up and ask directly to be traded. Kobe Bryant - Oddly enough, I think his fans might have made me sour on him. But, I do remember finding that whole free agency thing annoying as hell. And these days, I can't watch him without remembering the annoying arguments of his fanboys. EDIT: Also, Steve Francis - I've just disliked him ever since he pulled that little stunt with Vancouver. And nothing he's done in his career so far has made me change my opinion.
Chris Bosh - I hate when people compare him to Dwight Howard because I have always have to stick up for my boy Dwight. When people compared Okafor and Howard, I hated Emeka. Now that Dwight has silenced those comparisons, Bosh is the new guy that I just can't stand.

Anyways, I'm sure almost every single Laker fan can compare this with me. Raja Bell. I have a mutal hatred for this guy. From the way he looks, to the way he acts, and to the way he plays. I can go on and on and on, but let's just keep it G-rated and leave it at that. **** Raja Bell! **** Raja Bell! **** Raja Bell!
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Brian:</div><div class="quote_post">Or is someone still bitter after that 81 point game? </div> If there were a thread for coaches that annoy you, Sam Mitchell would probably be on there for that debacle.

tim duncan-i can never watch him play he's so boring. He needs more variety or some more acrobatic moves or something like shaqs dunk except his own signature move
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Junoon:</div><div class="quote_post">Antoine Walker Simply because of that shimmy shake thing he does. Seriously I love it when he does a shimmy. Ofcourse that's something only a Heat fan could like. Anyways I pick any player on the Bulls team. They're like a team of Bill Laimbeers. They all play defense as far as the refs allow and they are all are taught to flop whenever possible which allowed them to lead the league in charges drawn last season.
Shaq, Zo, Wade, LeBron, Walker, Payton... A couple of them just talk to much. I started to dislike Wade and LeBron during USA Basketball interviews.

Not really Milt's fault in those situations. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Kevin Willis - yet another player I didn't like when he was playing with the Raptors...the guy would always do that annoying hook shot that ended up missing half the times</div> If he made the other half then he shoots 50% on that hook shot <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Richard Hamilton: Just the fact that he seems to be lights out everytime he plays agianst the Nets. And he basically wasted half of the 03-04 season, with his refusal to just own up and ask directly to be traded. </div> Do you mean 04-05, or am I missing something? For me: Baron Davis: This is not because I don't like him, this is actually because I do like him and can't stand how he wastes his ability by jacking so many three's. Now some people hate on him too much, I'll give him credit that he's a very nice floor general, can lead and run a team well, and is a very willing passer. Also his three point jacking did get boosted by the one time where he was struggling at the line like crazy and got a little tentative in going to the basket and drawing fouls, that kind carried on. Still, he should not attempt more three's than FT's, and really needs to just take the oath Parker did to just look to drive because he can get in the lane at will, and finish strong too. I also don't like how he doesn't like to get in shape. Kwame Brown: Man, just play like you're capable of and stop being a goof, the end. This guy even right now should at least be a 15 PPG and 8 RPG guy, still not first pick level, but much much better than just servicable. Stromile Swift: Same as Kwame Eddy Curry: Stop fouling and turning the ball over, man it's annoying, and how can you suck at rebounding. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">I actually love his bank shot, takes quite a lot of skill and practice to shoot it from different angles and get it in every time </div> To tell you the truth, I'm actually more accurate with my bank shot than my normal shot from every angle except right in the corner and from straight away of course. 90 and 180 don't work so well for banks.
LeBron James: He's a great player and everything, but got away with a lot of missed calls during the Cavaliers/Wizards series. He whines about every call, I don't like him.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting SP23:</div><div class="quote_post">Shaq, Zo, Wade, LeBron, Walker, Payton... A couple of them just talk to much. I started to dislike Wade and LeBron during USA Basketball interviews.</div>That goes without saying
zo-obvious reasons kobe-its not that i hate him its that i hate all the refrences to him and jordan thats all i can think of
