Blazers have less than 0.1% chance of winning the title. Surprisingly, the Cavs only have a 6.6% chance of winning. And the Warriors are not number one.... http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/page/BPI-Playoff-Odds/espn-nba-basketball-power-index-playoff-odds
I laughed when I saw they finally changed everything from hollingers system to their new crappy system. They don't even have the daily hollinger power rankings anymore. ESPN seems to be slipping further downhill with each passing year. The videos they provide now have ~15s of built in advertisement to 10-15 seconds of content. I got suckered into watching adds just to see curry dribble a basketball for 8 seconds yesterday... I'm not even joking, it's that bad now. I really only go to ESPN for the box score anymore. I'm sure by next year all they will provide is the game cast, and then I shall never return to their website again.
It is terrible. And you aren't throwing hyperbole around at all. The ads are usually as long or longer than the content. I pretty much just use "the score" app on my phone. Works so much better than traditional online sites.
BBRef doesn't provide positional stats though. I still go to ESPN if I want to sort PER leaders amongst SG's, or something similar.
