Hey Celtics fans, just letting you know that the general Celtics/Hawks series discussion will take place in the NBA Playoffs forum in this topic. I put together a quick little general series outline in the opening post and I'll be posting my game-by-game previews in that thread as well. This keeps the discussion alive with people other than just Celtics fans posting in it.

    Go Celtics!

ohh man this is going to be a warm up series.
None of the starters played over 35 mins Sunday in a cakewalk win.
sucks that we have to wait so freaking long to finish round one.

I was thinking ahead (I know bad idea) if the C's face the Cavs in round two (it's looking that way), I'd put Pierce on Lebron for the first 3 quarters and then switch KG over on him for the 4th as Lebron's weakest area is his jumper. Pierce can play Wallace because he's not an offensive force and he's an only got an few inches on him. This way Pierce expends a lot of energy guarding him for 3 quarters and then you bring in a fresher and bigger KG to close LeBron out for the 4th.

anyone think that'd be a good way to play Lebron?

The interview with Doc was great.

Some lady had the nerves to ask "So, where did Pierce exactly injure his back? Was it from that fall?"

Doc "Oh yeah, I would imagine, definitely."

    Haha.
