Since Luke and Lamar have come back we are 2-1 with an easy schedule I think we will stay in the 6th spot probally facing San Antonio which we have 2 wins in the season against them and the only win the San Antonio had against the Lakers was like a game winner by Michael Finley. Im liking the way the Lakers are playing they are playing as a team and I think they will get to their winning ways. Your thoughts
I don't know about plyaying the Spurs in the first round, they were a completley different team when we beat them. They are obiously a better team now. Also, a team like the Spurs is built for the playoffs, i much rather face the Suns. There is more of a chance that Phonix might slip in the playoffs. We just need good defence. If we play a little better then last year, because Amare is there. I can see the Lakers in the second round.
Right now, I'm not really sure what to think. I need more time to evaluate us since we're finally getting players healthy again. I liked a lot of what I saw tonight, but there's still some issues. The ball movement looked much better and offense flowed much smoother with Luke and Odom back in the lineup, however, our defense still needs a lot of work. I realize we're young and all, but we have to learn how to close out a game. We nearly choked on a 18 point lead tonight against a sub-.500 team because our defense couldn't hold up in the 4th. If we're going to win and make some noise in the playoffs, we have to learn how to close out a game. If we can't do that, we won't make it out of the first round.
I will make my call on the playoffs on the last game of the season. Cause we still have time to build on chemistry and to work on the little things that we need to attend to
