I might get this thing. I really like the games for playstation and also the specs of it are really amazing. But I don't like the idea of how they copied the Wii and made a motion sensing thing plus they took the vibration out of controllers. And the price is horrendous. I don't think I'll be able to get this after getting a 360. BUT Sony has never failed me and always brings a good product, I'll give them that.Thoughts?
When I get though dough, im going to get it. The motion-censor thing isnt exactly like the Wii, just a cool small feature. The games are always great, everytime a Playstation comes out, a great franchise comes with it. PS1(Resident Evil) PS2(GTA III). And the quality and durability of it is always good. My friend had a X-Box for a year and it started messing up on him. I have had my PS2 for nearly 5 years and I have had no problems with it. Just gotta clean the dust outve it every once in a while.
My dad went to order one for me and they said there only getting 16 in the entire city. All of them are sold already. It will be awhile.Might just go with the 360.
No I'm happy with my 360. This thread is a good example of what will happen lol. People will cmap out and try to get one and when they won't get it instead of waiting, they will get the 360 which is just as good.
I probably won't be enjoying a next-gen system for a while. If I were to get one, it would be a PS3. But like Justice pointed out, I'm not putting myself into debt for one. As for xbox360, a possible price drop could interest me but I don't think it's a reliable system that lasts for years. I don't want to dough out my hard earned cash for a system that has a shorter lifespan then a fly.
I plan on getting one. My brother is telling me to camp out to get one. He already pre ordered 2 and sold one for $2k. But I think I will just see if my parents can get it for me for my birthday at the end of the month.

The controller is perfect, the games look AMAZING (I just got Gears of War and DAMN!)... I mean there's a chance for any system to die out bit the 360 was made to be a very long-lasting system. They are updating new things and ideas all the time.

I just rather not risk it until those kinds of feedback die down(because I know not every system is foolproof but I want a high rate of lifespan).
I've had my 360 for around 4 months, and there are a few minor problems that have arisen. For one, the date system does not change. Every day is 11/15/2005 or something like that. Also, all of the games I have played are very chunky and stop...go...stop..go. However, that might just be an error with the games themselves.

I did just that, and I haven't had any problems like that since (unless it's the game itself), and the fan stand is only $10 or $15 anyway. As far as the date not changing, that is kind of weird... I really don't know what would cause that, and I haven't heard of anybody else having that problem either. And no, I'm not getting a PS3.Xbox 360 >>> PS3.
Why buy a PS3 when I have a PS2 and can keep saving towards new amps and subs for my car. I don't play video games enough anyways to cough up the money itll take to buy the PS3.
I have a question. There's a cheaper one right? And how much money is that? Also it has 20GB space correct? So I'm wondering how much that is compared to my Xbox(first one NOT 360).
Eventually I'll get it. Im not going to be one of those person's that orders and sleeps in a tent infront of a Walmart the night before. Im going to wait awhile...awhile as in price drop and time. Time so they will have time to get the bugs out, ect

It also has built in wi-fi, flash card reader, and chrome trim.So yeah, too expensive.
