Hi, this is the first time I've decided to try out yahoo fantasy basketball. I got the fourth pick in a 11-team league. I'm really new to this so I'm pretty nervous about the future Anyway, here's my team, please comment, should I drop anyone or make a trade, with "what/who" in that case.... PG J. Williams (Mem - PG) PG J. Tinsley (Ind - PG) SG K. Bryant (LAL - SG) SG M. Ginobili (SA - SG) G B. Gordon (Chi - G) G J. Stackhouse (Dal - GF) SF L. Odom (LAL - F,SF) SF G. Giricek (Uta - GF,SG) PF P. Gasol (Mem - PF) - PF C. Boozer (Uta - PF) F P. Brown (NO - PF) F J. Smith (Mil - PF) F --empty-- D. Gadzuric (Mil - C) S. Swift (Mem - FC) UTL Util L. Ridnour (Sea - PG) Util --empty-- Bench K. Cato (Orl - C,FC) S. Bradley (Dal - C) A. McDyess (Det - PF) Injured list C. Kaman (LAC - C) V. Lenard (DEN - G) Personally I think my C-spot is really weak, Is S.Swift enough? Anything will help, thnx...
I would drop Voshon Lenard because he is out for the season. I would pick up Earl Boykins because he is putting up good numbers this year. If you need a Center, I would pick up Primoz Brezec, the Center for the Bobcats. He is doing great this year with a few 20 point 10 rebound games. I would also try to pick up Loren Woods because he is gathering up the rebounds for the Raptors this season. After you pick up Woods, drop Chris Kaman.
Drop Lenard and Kaman, then see if you can get Chauncey Billups for Kobe. That's what I would do. Then you'll win.
Swift is enough in a league that deep, I guess. It's hard to say for non-yahoo leagues without other teams beng listed.
