yeah its true it happens to ex-magics but to a lot of other teams too. take the raptors for example. players that r in the playoffs now and were raptors before: corllious williamson - pistons doug christie - kings lindsay hunter - pistons rafer alston - heat brian skinner - bucks lenny wilkins (well, hes a coach) - knicks chauncey billups - pistons jonathan bender (drafted by raps though) - pacers then players that made it to the playoffs after leaving the raps but not this season: t-mac carlos arroyo damon stoudmire keon clark ...i can probably list more that i cant think of right now at the moment. anyway, my point is basically that this happens to other teams too; not just orlando.
This isnt about the raptors.. So.. Really, it was just a fact.. if you wanna go about that.. Maggette, Harpring, Billups, Atkins, Wallace, Armstrong, Miller, Troy Hudson, Earl Boykins.. Yeah</div> im not talking about toronto. im using the raptors as an example of how other teams have players that leave and end up well too --not just orlando.
I remember a topic similar to this one, but talking about a team that let go many players that ended up having good seasons later on. I think this is basically the same, and like harry_balls5 said, this happens to every team. Players move around so much that its more than likely that a lot of your ex-players are going to be in the playoffs. Players just move around and go in different direction, it's just how it is in the NBA.
