<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">London, England, Jun. 21 (UPI) -- A British stripper had to quit her job because the pole she danced around gave her a rash. Donna Cleeve, who stripped as "Honey," developed rashes on her legs and body because her pole was chrome, which contains nickel, a substance she is allergic to, Britain's Sun reported Monday. "Because I kept on dancing around the pole it just got worse and worse," Cleeve, 20, told the newspaper. "It's hard to look sexy when your legs and body are inflamed. I tried to ignore it but in the end it wasn't worth the pain." After three months she figured out the pole was the problem and left her $1,800 per week job for a new position -- saleswoman earning about a third as much. "I hated giving up because there's great camaraderie," she said. "If I could find a way of dancing without the allergy I'd go back." Muriel Simmons, of health charity Allergy UK, said the only cure for Cleeve's allergy is total abstinence. </div> She gave up $1200 monthly to have sex.
