Cannot believe that the Golden Knights Parachute team let Cashman do a jump with them. They must have made sure that the men in MOS 92R (Parachute Rigger) were not bitter Yankee Fans disgruntled with his job performance. If he decides to do another jump I'd be glad to come back on active duty to OJT in that MOS.

...Hint; there are more than 1 acceptable answers.

Neither. Dombrowski's won nothing. Learned that he desperately needed a bullpen in 2012 but didn't address it and watched his BP blow 2013, gifting an ALCS to the Red Sox. When he wins a WS I'll give him due props, until then he's another Beane. My opinion of course, sure I'll be smited for it.

    ...lol..."smited"?...OK

...the question is not who has won the most WS but I'll be glad to create another poll so you can vote. I guess any GM whose players have not won a WS is not worth having ?...is that right/..is that your only criteria?

...and can't believe you brought up Beane...Beane and Dombrowski are both generally considered among the top GMs in the game.

Everybody has blown Billy Beane for years. What has he won? Both guys have had the window, Dombrowski's has been open for a few years, and neither has been able to deliver. Great rosters? Hurray. Win something. I know that would be the cry here if the Yanks had Detroit's roster.

...so again, WS titles is your only criteria for a GM?

...btw, thanx for turning a simple yes or no poll into something else. If you didn't feel like voting for either, fine...but this, I don't get.

I didn't have to google to tell you who everybody loves. I already told you that Beane's been getting blown for year. Heck, that first link with Cherington as #2 shows you what a joke baseball writers are. Put Sabean at the top of my list. I give Dombrowski the nod as a great talent evaluator but that guy better win something before all is said and done.

...yes, the overwhelming majority is wrong. You are right.

...and anyone who thinks Beane or Dombrowski is a better GM than Cashman is "a joke".

Don't twist my words here. Cherington as #2 is the joke I refer to. I'm no Cashman apologist, the guy has more resources than anyone, but Beane and Dombrowski can continue their success but I personally don't hold them on a pedestal until they complete the job. Dombrowski has had the team to do it but needs to complete the job.

Sheesh, it's a struggle to not have a conforming opinion around here.

... I "twisted your words"....lol...OK, if you say so. If you can find a legit source that puts Cashman at the top, fine, go ahead and provide it. But I at least provided something that countered your stance but you dismissed that too.

...again, you're the one who, instead of either voting or not voting at all, decided to take this simple poll and turn it in a different direction...and you can't lay that on me either. Beane and Sabean and others were not on the ballot because this poll was born out of another thread debating who was better, Cashman or Dombrowski?....it's as simple as that.

...and neither is anyone denying you your opinion, but again, in this case virtually everyone believes that Dombrowski is a better GM than Cashman and that alone is what this is about. So don't think otherwise if others disagree.
