Auburn Hills, Mich. --- After watching Utah's Andrew Bogut in the Olympics last summer, Pistons coach Larry Brown and Spurs coach Gregg Popovich were convinced that the Australian center was everything he's been built up to be.

That's why they're not surprised that Bogut is on a collision course with the top of the draft board, where the Hawks have the second overall pick.

"I thought he was outstanding," Popovich said before Sunday night's Game 5 showdown in the NBA Finals. "He's got great hands, he can shoot it, he's got moves on the block, and he can play out on the floor. But what impressed me most is he's a fantastic passer. He's a really big-time passer. He really understands the game."

Brown was the head coach of the U.S. squad that took home the bronze medal in Athens, while his good friend Popovich worked as one of his assistants.

"I was really blown away watching him play," Brown said. "He was very skilled, you know, like a poor man's Bill Walton. He could pass, he had great hands, and he had a really good touch around the basket." </div>
