<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Early in the first quarter of the Milwaukee Bucks' game Sunday in Cleveland, Cavaliers center Zydrunas Ilgauskas reached his long arm up through the Bucks' basket and knocked away a layup attempt by Milwaukee's Mo Williams.

Keith Van Horn and the struggling Bucks are quickly losing control of this season with shoddy play.

The obvious goal-tend went unnoticed by the officiating crew, leading Bucks coach Terry Porter to give veteran referee Jess Kersey an earful from the bench.

Well, golly, Kersey responded as he worked the sideline, the officials were certainly sorry if they missed a call.

"It's just my livelihood, Jess," Porter responded.

So it goes these days for the Bucks, who are trying to pursue their livelihood but aren't reaping many rewards. With a 15-27 record, they are at the low-water mark of a season that is quickly slipping away from them. They will take a three-game losing streak into their game tonight against the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Bradley Center.

"This is my first time ever going through this in Milwaukee," fifth-year guard Michael Redd said. "So this is new to me, too. I'm trying to figure it out and stay positive with my teammates and my coaching staff and trying to be a leader as far as being positive. But we all realize that - you know what? - we have to get some wins. We don't want to make this an embarrassing season. . . . Continue to have some pride."

    Embarrassing?</div>
