    (Although I believe a stadium money bill was passed about 5 years ago)

    I'd love MLB but I don't see Portland solving any of the problems every single other small market team face.

    If someone can find a willing source of $600 million for a new stadium, then find me around 100 local companies willing to shell out $50,000-$300,000 per year for premium seats and luxury boxes so the finances punch out, I'm on board with MLB to Portland.

    I love baseball, and I'd love to see a major league team here in Portland, but the numbers just don't work for it to happen.

    The only way MLB works in PDX is if the teams and the union get their act together and put in a salary cap.
