Blazers @ Suns, Weds Oct. 30, 2013 - This was an "all around" terrible performance. We had absolutely zero good that came from this game.

Blazers @ Denver, Fri Nov 1, 2013 - This is where we start seeing how the Blazers really turn it on in the third and 4th quarters. Our defense really turns the corner in the second half.

I will get more detail on the other teams, but I am busy at work. Use Popcorn and you will see how incredible we are in the second half. Even in the Houston loss, our 2nd half defense was much better.

Speaking of game flow, when the bench comes in, we aren't getting much ball movement. It's leads to shots that aren't "open Blazer buckets" and too much iso ball, often fighting the shot clock. The bench needs to get their stuff in a pile. Both GS and the Bulls went off in the 2nd quarter because of this.

Less of a problem tonight with Mo out of the game? That is, if Watson gets the minutes, and Will the Thrill doesn't?

You're right, the bench doesn't seem to be up to speed on the Blazers offense. I can't complain too terribly about their defense, but when you aren't playing in the teams offense, that often leads to turnovers, fast breaks, and less time to setup on defense. It's a bit strange, I know you lose some of the offensive pop in the second unit, but Mo and Wright have some offensive firepower, and TRob and Freeland are solid enough energy guys. I wouldn't expect it to be as smooth as the starters by any means, but certainly they are doing their own thing far too often.
