Our beloved Vikings - yes, that same men's basketball squad that knocked off the little boys from Gonzaga not so long ago - just beat the Lumberjacks of Northern Arizona in quadruple overtime, 92-91, today. That's the equivalent of playing an additional HALF of basketball, by the way - and it was the last game on a long road trip. The high scorer for PSU was an outstanding player named Dominic Waters (scored more than 40 points). Might be a name to remember. PSU's got a great little PG, too (and he is little, I think he's shorter than me, and I'm only 5'7") - Jeremiah Dominguez.

Hopefully, PSU will pull through and win the Big Sky title, so we all will know they'll be playing in March. But if they don't, and they keep winning tough games like this one - they ought to get an at-large bid.

    Go Vikings!
