Well I pulled his ESPN player card... This is what they have to say

    Domantas Sabonis: 6'10", 230 lbs. Age: 18

    Hollinger PER: 25.95

Positives: Strong, Physical Player - Very High Bball IQ - Excellent Passer - Clever at attacking - Plays with a Great Motor

Negatives: Needs to improve his perimeter game - Lacks Athletic Ability

    Analysis:
    Nov 18 Update:
A number of scouts are intrigued by Gonzaga freshman Domantas Sabonis. He's the son of the legendary Arvydas Sabonis and got off to a great start on Friday, scoring 14 points and grabbing eight rebounds in just 20 minutes off the bench. He followed it up with 13 points and nine rebounds versus SMU on Monday.

Sept 6 Update: The son of Blazer legend Arvydas Sabonis. Sabonis had a big tournament for Lithuania in the European Under-18s. He averaged 15.9 ppg and 12 rpg and 3.8 apg. He uses his strength and toughness combined with an elite basketball IQ to do his damage right now. He needs to continue to improve his jump shot to become a dangerous NBA prospect. A year at Gonzaga should be good for him. He has a chance to be one of the best freshmen in the country.

Has he said anything about leaving gonzafa early? I would think he would stay at least another year.

He's not on any of the other mock drafts.

He is not leaving this year. He will stay at least one more year. But to answer your question, IF he did come out he would be drafted MUCH higher than 26th.

If we're drafting Sabas I'm not including the draft pick in ANY trade! ;)

The best part of what you just posted is that ESPN is predicting we make it to the Western Conference Finals!

Guessing how we draft next season is crazy at this point with the uncertainty of resigning players.

Oops, 26th would mean we lost in the 2nd round. Oh well...

Wait the draft is based on how you do in the playoffs, not seeding for playoffs?!

I thought if you won the championship you got the last pick in the draft.

i watched him play a few games, really good footwork and you can tell his bb IQ is superior to most his age. I think kid will be a quicker project than meyers and will be a legit post guy. Would be great to bring him in under lamarcus and have him take over eventually.

He looks very good to me. He's always the best rebounder on the floor and really has a nose for the ball.
Looks like a very smart player and I'd love to draft him. I don't know if Kingspeed thinks he's hot though.......

Draft is seeded by regular season record IIRC.

I'd take him, just for the coolness factor if nothing else.
