After they play Brooklyn, doesn't it make sense for them to play NY the next night? Shouldn't we play Boston and Philly together? No, they have us jumping all over the place. Brooklyn and then.. Detroit? Boston and then... Cleveland? So stupid.
It boils down to arena availability, coupled with television broadcasting input. I may be wrong, but I once heard that each team is presented with, like, 6 schedules and they list their preferences. the highest chosen schedule prevails...with a few tweaks by the national networks....or something like that
Using the same mentality, should all road teams play one of the LA teams and then the other the next day?
