Since being suspended in the Bulls series, Posey has been playing like he was with Memphis a few years back. He's doing all the little things like pressuring offensive players, diving for the loose ball, running the floor, rebounding, getting steals off the passing lanes, and knocking down the 3. This is the James Posey we traded for and I'm glad he's starting to come around. He was a big reason we won Game 3. He had 2 steals late in the 4th quarter that we scored on and helped spread the lead. He also help force more steals in the game and his defense was contagious as other players were getting into it. His play is inspiring and brings a tear to my eyes after seeing the way we've been slacking in the Effort area for most of the season. If Posey keeps playing like this and improving I think our chances of winning a title are better. Also, Gary Payton's defense in the fourth quarter was huge. He needs to play like that if we're going to go all the way. If this team can play have and get better throughout the rest of the playoffs I would consider keeping the pieces together.
It took Posey a while to adapt to his role but he has done very well this postseason. His big threes and added defensive help are giving us a big lift off of the bench. Hopefully he keeps it up.
Posey has been great this postseason and has been doing everything you can ask in a role player :Knock down the open shot, and play defense. What I love most about Posey is that when he is on the bench you always see him cheering on his teamates and keeping the energy level up. I'm happy that hes on our team.
I am really glad to have Posey and he seems to have found his role on this team. I really hope he doesn't opt out of his contract because he has the player option. As Truth said. I absolutely love his energy he is a true team player and can ocme i nand hit the big shots.
