Brent Barry has signed a contract for 4 years/22 million with the Spurs. He was reportably at the top of the Warriors list of free agents.

What other free agents out there do you see or want the Warriors to sign?

Here, happy Rudeezy, I'm posting here, lol. In fact, I think this might actually be my very first post in the Warriors forum. So, my thoughts here. Losing Brent Barry is a huge shot in the foot in my opinion. You never want to see the person at the top of your list of free agents take a deal from another team. But, there is still quite a bit of talent out there on the free agent market, whether they can afford that talent or not is another thing, but, there is still talent out there.

He is. Isn't he? Hey what's the word on Joel Pryzbilla. Is FA this year or next year? I've been interested in his potential. Kind of injury and foul prone. But he's 7'1, good shotblocker, he can play with his back to the basket, and he's a good low post defender from what I could tell. Maybe Montgomery can do wonders for his career.

What is your personal list of FA's?
And anyone know off the top of their head what the status of Darius Miles, Steven Hunter, Zelko Rebraca, Joel, Pryzbilla, Keon Clark, and Zendon Hamilton?

Also Rod Strickland wouldn't be a bad pickup. Insurance in case our backup guard goes down or is forced to play starter.

I would love to add Keon Clark to the Warriors. I don't know what the deal with his contract is but I have always loved his game. He is a spark off the bench and could team up with Foyle as an excellent shot blocking duo with those freakishly long arms.

I don't see any "must haves" out there, especially not if it would affect the Warriors cap flexibility next year. If they don't acquire a sf in any Damp trade, I'd like to see them get a vet sf for a year, but that's about it.

Let's just get Donny Marshall then. Or what about Terrence Morris?

I always liked Eric Williams, but I sort of doubt he'd consider the Warriors.

We could try to grab Jon Barry, he's cheape and he's a high energy, 3 point shooter-type, though he's getting up there in age.

I love Jon Barry's badass attitude. He was ready to throw blows with that little punk Latrell Spreewell. He would be a very useful veteran.

Man, how could we let Barry get away for that price! I thought he was one of our top FA we were looking at? And Foyle got twice as big of a contract? This does not make sense.

I would stay put and keep the roster the way it is, maybe besides getting a replacement for Dampier.I agree with Rudeezy on Keon Clark though. He may be too thin to bang it out with big men 82 games a year, but can be a great shotblocker at a valid price.

How's about Todd Fuller, I heard he was available, playing summer league somewhere, I bet we could get him really easy, heck maybe we can force him to pay us back the money we blew on him.
Anyways, maybe Barry didn't want to come here because he didn't want to be near his old man, seems I read a while back that their relationship was rocky.
Also the article said Barry wanted to go to a contender...........................

Fuller is now playing summer league with Charlotte. I've seen him on TV and I gotta tell you, he looked good with his sweeping leftie hooks. Who knows, he could be a late bloomer. [IMG]

Trip, where on TV do you get to see summer league games? Do you have NBA TV? If so let us know how Biedrens is doing if you happen to see him.

I don't get NBA TV since I live in Canada, but Raptors Tv, which I get, broadcast live summer league games. Their first game is tomorrow against San Antonio, so I'll watch it if I don't feel too sleepy since it will be 10:30 PM by the time the game starts here in Toronto.
