Sounds crazy but I would move Zucc. I see him being a guy getting a lot worse over the next few years with his small size than better. His value would be high and you might be able to package Girardi with his ass for one good, young, NHL player. Teams might take Girardi to get Zucc. Bobby Ryan is having a crap year. He's a right shot and makes 7.25 a year. Zucc and Girardi make 10 combined. Take a little salary back and unite Zucc with Brassard again. Might make some sense. Just saying.
They really need another offensive dman. Maybe they can trade Klein plus pick/prospect for TJ Brodie. I guess it's likely Shattenkirk is here next year but still.
