well... with sheed and ai gone... who are some possibilities? hmm well lets start with boozer... boozer saying he wants out of utah with a 43 million dollar contract... probably wanted to go to his hometown of miami... but thanks to jermaine oneal... the heats gm made an incredibly dumb move and made it impossible for this home coming... Mike bibby.. hmm heres an interesting one.... a very solid pg that could integrate well into the pistons halfcourt offense..... he has a 55 million dollar contract due to expire... Mehmet okur.... hmm wouldnt suprise me at all to see him here.... but it would suprise me more if the stones didnt sight the two above before this guy Ron Artest... eh a free agent next year.. but no real need... probably wont happen... Steve Nash.... possible but very unlikely if kerr wants to ever work in this league again..... Jason Kidd... another very good option... but age is always an issue.... possible.. not probable.. Andre Miller... again kinda old but a decent fit into the pistons system.... really id take any one of those dudes.... especially the pgs (bibby mainly, dont really see a chance of any others leaving their teams besides kidd.... who i wouldnt be too excited for...). boozer seems like theres a good chance pistons could get him which would be really awesome.... this is just a list of cool possibilities for the offseason dont take anything seriously...... also to u losers who say ai ruined the pistons.... players dont go from averaging 27/7 to 17/5 by themselves.... michael curry is just "special"...
I know this is risky, given the economy and how much worse it may be by 2010, by the Pistons shouldn't completely break the bank this summer. Sign one of Bibby or Boozer, then go for the big splash in 2010. If they could sign Bibby this summer then Bosh or Stoudemire in 2010, they become a force in the East again, just like that.
