Do you guys think there are any players projected to go in the second round that could turn into good NBA players?

Right now, I see a guy like Taquan Dean being a big steal. He will never be a super star, but could be a great guy to have coming off your bench. He is a real great defender, he could potentially be like a Bruce Bowen type player that could lock down oppenent's best wing player. He also has a real nice jumper, with alot of range. His only down side is his size.

Paul Millsap is another guy that will be over looked because of his size. At 6'7 he is an under sized power forward, who is to big to play the three. What will make him good in the NBA is his ability to rebound, and provide hustle and energy. Paul has been averaging twelve rebounds per game since his freshman year. His knocks are his size, and the fact that he hasn't played against great competetion at Louissiana Tech

I think Glen Davis will be one. I mean he looks short for an NBA Pf but so was Mike Sweetney and Elton Brand. If Glen Davis would get his weight down to 250 pounds around 80 pounds less then wut he is now he would be so much more explosive quick and faster aka he woule = elton brand.

I like Denham Brown (a little hometown bias there).

He doesn't necessarily dominate, but he's got great all-around talent. I could see him bringing energy off the bench, or even starting if he fit the team.

Agree with brown aswell as Anderson, just due to him being able to flat out shoot the ball. If he was at Duke, Redick wouldnt exsist, and Anderson has better height, skill set and can play a little D. In any event, Glen Davis, not a chance as a second round steal. He was being talked about as a first rounder in the beginning of the season if he declared, if he does now, he's lottery. I wouldnt compare him to Sweetney because Davis has a much higher skill set, a much better shooter from the outside and can handle the ball. He's in the lottery. Milsap too. I like his toughness. He could be a Reggie Evans type but be able to score more. I think because of his ability to shoot, Allen Ray will stick on a roster for a while, and McNamara will find a spot on a bench as a specialist too. A few other names to keep an eye on come June.......

    Kevin Pittsnogle-West Virginia
    Eric Hicks-Cincinnati
    Steve Novak-Marquette
    Maurice Ager-Michigan St.

Glen Davis isnt 330, he's 310. Glen Davis was 345 when he came out of high school and he's lost 35 lbs, he says hes going to get down to 285 or he's trying to atleast. He thinks that would be a healthy playing weight for him. I wouldnt mind a 6'9" 285 lb Power Forward/Center on my team.

So all in all here's who I think is going to be all the steals in this years draft, or atleast in the second round of this years draft:

    Guillermo Diaz - Miami U.
    Sean Dockery - Duke.
    Allan Ray - Villanova.
    Marco Killingsworth - Indiana.
    JP Batista - Gonzaga.
    Pops Mensah-Bonsu - GW.
    Bobby Jones - Washington.
    Craig Smith - BC.

There could be a lot. Some top guys are projected second rounders. All depends on the camps and stuff on where their going to go. I agree with most of the guys above and I'll just add some.

Leon Powe - Cal - If he goes.
Mike Gansey - UWV - I'd like to see how he does if he makes it though. Been great in college though
