Right now I have 3 Qb's.. Brad Johnson.. Aaron Brooks and Eli manning. I am in a bitch of a situation with running backs though.. I have Larry Johnson, Travis Henry , and Tony Richardson. Should i trade Eli for Dominique Davis ?

    Absolutely not!

Eli's the best QB you have and Davis is injured. If you trade Manning for Davis, you are essentially getting nothing in return.

How deep is your league? I can't imagine there's NO ONE available at RB that you can plug in unless you were in an 18 person league or something...

Davis is on the bubble in Houston right now. In this case I'd probably keep Eli Manning over Davis. Try and find someone else than Davis. Though trading Eli really hurts your QB situation.

Possibly see if u can trade Brooks or Johnson for a more underrated RB.

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

lol dont ever do that, there was talk that DDavis was gonna get CUT from the Texans a couple of days ago its not gonna happen but he probably will not be the starter at Houstan so there would be no reason to trade one of the best young QBs in the league for a 2nd string running back. You are actually almost getting worse at running back with that trade.

If you really want to trade Manning that much you can definatly get at least a starting running back for him maybe a guy who was picked in the late 1st round early 2nd round. not for DD tho dont let that guy completely rip you off.

Richardson is a blocking FB. So, I'd cut him.

Correction...Tony Richardson was a blocking FB. He has been used in the preseason in goal line situations and has several goal line plays aimed at getting him the ball. I can see him picking up 7-8 TD's.

How many teams in your league? Is LJ's backup, Michael Bennett available by any chance?

ok what you do is you keep Eli but cut richardson and pick up the backup from the houston texans since davis is out for the season. Im not sure who he is though. Henry isnt that bad of a RB but he gets hurt a lot. Still keep him incase he goes back to the old Henry he was in Buffalo

Kubiak announced today that Lundy will start, but that Morency will also get a lot of carries. He also said that Lundy will probably get "slightly more." I'm thinking 10 - 15 carries for each guys until one or the other establishes himself as the "go to" guy.

This is exactly why I avoid large leagues. We're discussing the 2nd & 3rd string RBs of the Texans! :surrender:

this is why i like larger leagues, depth is a challenge....I wouldnt be comfortable starting Tony Richardson ever, reguardless of how many redzone carries he might get....even if he scored 8 tds this year(and thats a lrge number for him), he still giving you nothing more than half the time....my advice is to gamble on a backup that you might get cheap and that might take over as a starter after an injury....Fred Taylors backup, Deshawn Fosters backup, any of the Jets backs(maybe even Curtis Martin if you think he might come back after week 6)....

I picked up Ron Dayne. I bet the Texans are kickking themselves for not selecting Bush now!
