Here are two trades that could help the Wolves now and in the long run in the playoffs. 1) Trade Ervin and a second round pick for Boston's Battie. 2) Trade Wally, when he's back and ready to play, for Cleveland's Ricky David of Portlands Rasheed Wallace. All three i have mentions are on the bubble, and are exactly what this team needs. Either way we need a Center and a F that can get it done down low. Ricky Davis is a slasher and can take it to the hoop as well as put up the three. Expect us to make a move.
Hmm.........the most likely one is that Ervin Johnson and Tony Battie one, but all of them are unrealistic.
Davis and Sheed are on the bubble and are being shopped pretty hard. Anything regarding Wally, trade wise, would have to matchup salary wise. So we trade Wally and another for Sheed. Pretty simply, it all depends on how much pressure the Wolves are under and their willingness to get something done. Either way we need a Center, that will be our first move. Second, with this team taking 5 thousands jump shots a night, and with Spree and Hoiberg filling in nicley, it makes Wally that much more expendable. Like i said we need a Center and a Forward. Harrington, Sheed, Davis, Malik Rose, any of those Forwards would be welcomed.
