What do you think will be the outcome of the Rockets next season? If all goes well injury-wise. I think if it does, they can break 50... they have the team, theyre just bad for injuries. But I think it was just an unlucky turn of events. So enough with meWHAJOO THAENK!?! that was sad. :no1:
It's a matter of how healthy they get. It would be a miracle if TMac gets healthy. We would be a dangerous team. We need to make changes though.
Houston is way too overrated for next season already.Dallas and San Antonio are better teams.Houston OBVIOUSLY has a top 5 defense, and I think they'll get around 50.
Who says they are better then Dallas and SA? Whos overrating them? I see no one. We are just simply predicting what their season will be like next season.

All your offseason moves and how you took Dallas to 7 games, Rocket fans were talking a lot before the season and so were analysts. Most had them finishing over Dal, and Rockets fans were talking <Censored> about their offseason to ours and how we subtracted(losing Fin) instead of adding. Not saying it was you guys in particular, but that was the case before the season by Rockets fans.
Well the Rockets have a very good team, it's just that their main key is to stay healthy and they can be a very dangerous team. And I agree with Waqas, Houston can get 50 wins.STAY HEALTHY T-MAC AND YAO!

It is no coincidence that when they are both playing together they go on huge streaks where they win 15 out of 16 or streaks similar to that.If T-Mac and Yao stay healthy for next season....watch out. If we can get antoher big man and maybe another gunner.....you are looking at the new 2nd best Texas team. Oh, and not to mention Bob Sura will be back next season, or at least he has planned to do summer leagues and is already ahead of schedule rehab wise.
If Yao and TMac can stay healthy and if they can get rid of that Alston guy and replace him with a pg with brains and have Luther Head new and improved over the off year and also a consistent year by Juwan Howard and Stromile Swift, I say they can get a 5th or 6th seed in the West.
I thought they would be a contender this season With Stro and Rafer panning out, Tmac and Yao being better than ever, and Sura posting triple doubles.Guess injuries are the teams worst enemy.
If that team comes back with the same roster, plus their lotto pick this year, AND become healthy some how, that is a 45-50 win team. But it is still no match for San Antonio, Dallas, Phoenix with Amare, and would have a tough time with Denver and the Clippers. So honestly, I see the talent, and they obviously have 2 superstars in T-Mac/Yao, but they are both very unhealthy at this point (especially T-Mac, a guy like him with a back problem is not good). So, it's tough to say. But with that team being fully healthy it's a 45-50 win team, probably 5th seed in the west (behind Spurs, Mavs, Suns, and Nuggets due to the retarded playoff setup).
I think the Rockets will bounce back and make the playoffs if both T-Mac and Yao play more than 85% of the season

You traded DA for nothing, and Swift has not played to his expectations. And that Mike James/Rafer Alston trade looks bad in terms of how both played in the year.

We weren't even playing him at the end of his Rockets run. Swift has been averaging his career averages, and he does well when he gets minutes. Give him more minutes and he'll shine more. And Rafer is much better for the Rockets than Mike James, as we needed more of a pure PG. Rafer was the key to the Rockets huge run in February.

That only shows how bad he was for Rockets and was overrated when acquired. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Swift has been averaging his career averages, and he does well when he gets minutes. I see the Rockets winning 50-55 because they had a good team last year, they just had too much injuries. And they have the 8th pick, which they could use to get Rodney Carney, Marcus Williams, or even Andrea Bargnani, if they trade up.
Depends what we do this off season. We need a leader if tmac or yao go down. That is when the draft comes in, I'm pulling for the Rockets to pick Rudy Gay. Other than that we have to get rid of Juwan and David. They are too old and their contracts are a waste. Yeah i got Rockets with a 50+ season.
No matter what, Rockets will win at least 45 with a healthy Yao and T-Mac, despite whatever else happens with the rest of the team. Theya re that good. Now, in order to be an elite team, we need a very physical PF. I feel Rafer and Head are good enough at PG position, and Sura is coming back so all of them can play SG/PG. I say trade Wesley and Juwan for that great PF, and maybe trade up for a better draft pick and get a backup for Yao. I feel Swift will be better with more MPG, and the rest of the team is very solid: Rafer, Sura, T-Mac, Swift, and Yao is a very good starting lineup.Assuming we can get a very physical PF, I think Kenyon would do the trick, and we might get him for little as Denver wants him out. Bonzi Wells would be an AMAZING FA signing. Put Sura at PG, him at SG, T-Mac at SF, Kenyon at PF, and Yao at C....and wow. Of course, this all will probably not happen, but I think getting either Bonzi Wells or a physical PF would do the trick, along with a healthy Sura/T-Mac/Yao.

Bob Sura is getting old but he can still play for us but we need a young guy who can step up when Yao and Mac are out. I like the plan about Kenyon but I doubt it's gonna happen.
