Yah, yah, I know...there's an area for recruiting... This is big, if legit. Rivals has Jared Ebert, out of Iowa Western CC as a Duck commit. This is big news, if true... Ebert is 6'5" 285# DT or NT. He's 4* per rivals and 3* per scout. The reason this is big news is because he is experienced. It is reported he is very strong and has room to add 10 pounds to his frame. Oh, did I mention he's an experienced JC! Per scout, "Ebert is a true defensive tackle that could excel in a 4-3...He has a big, lean frame that allows him to cover a lot of ground quickly when he's in backside pursuit of a back trying to go wide...He's a raw talent that has size and speed that's coveted in a big man." The good news here is he is eligible and could be an impact player immediately. He has a 425 bench and a 500 squat and great speed, 4.8/40 for a big man. I think it's great news. I think we'll continue to see Chip pull in some top tier talent over the next few years until we're right up there with the Texas', the SCs, and the Floridas. We've got the facilities, the program, and the boosters to compete with any school now.
