But it hasn’t made a difference this year. Look at the home and road records. Being in your own bed hasn’t been much of a factor. Hotels have comfortable beds.

Its early. Travel wains. Home court will not have the advantage it once did but it will still prove to be an advantage when all said and done i think.

Would you rather have them play now and lose or play at full strength a couple months from now?

or better yet, would you rather have them play and possibly have the Blazers become exposed and have a rash of positives?

whether the right thing to do or not, all sacrifices come with a price.

I’m going to miss not seeing the game tonight and maybe Friday’s as well. OTOH, the games will probably be slipped into the schedule for the second portion of the season, so that likely means after CJ is back. That would be a plus.

I know we stand to benefit from this but I don't understand why the NBA is postponing games when there is only one COVID-related issue on the team (that we have heard at least). Injuries happen. You don't postpone a game because you have too many inquired players. You play or forfeit. There is probably more to this story but if not then it is making it look like the NBA is trying to fix games and help out one team vs another (not saying that is the case just that it can look that way).
