Re: PPE's first mock Merriweather before Ross? I don't think so. Especially with his tainted past. No one would want to draft any one with a bad record like Brandon Merriweather especially with the NFL Commissioner's new disciplinary hammering on Pacman Jones and Chris Henry. Patriots would draft Ross, I'm sure, if he dropped that far - in which he probably would.

Comparing Apples and Oranges.Overall it's a pretty good mock, did a good job matching player with need. I think you have Beason a bit too high, and I'd want to puke if the Jets selected Olsen, but otherwise not bad. Also don't really see Weddle or McCauley as a First Rounder. Would rather see someone like Ginn Jr, Blalock, Spencer, Moss, Nelson or maybe even Jarrett in Round 1.
