Praise for Sam

    Just wanted to praise Sam a bit on the weekend of the All Star Game.

    It is truly amazing how he has established himself IMO as the best PG we have ever had. If you look at his stats and compare to our history, he is on pace at the end of the season to be all time:

    #21 in Wolves All time Total Scoring
    #15 in Wolves All time Total Assists

    His single season numbers should give him the

    #3 highest single season points as a Wolf
    (behind Campbell and Garnett - 280 points more than Marbury's best season
    and only 173 points behind Campbell)
    #4 highest single season assists as a Wolf
    (behind Richardson, Marbury and Williams - just 95 behind #1 Richardson and 65 behind Marbury)

    Sam is a sub, so i don't think he will play much as Stevie Franchise but you did make some good point about Sam Cassell and praise about Kevin Garnett. [​IMG]

    Yeah, Sam Cassell is an under rated player. He needs some love.

    In place for one season... yes Sam has the best season as a Timberwolf point gaurd... I hope he throws an alley-hoop to Garnett or Shaq.

    Sam is the best point guard in the west but nobody knows it because of ll the other great PGs in the west. He should be a starter in the game but Francis got that role. I hope he plays a lot and makes some big plays for the west.


    Spree should be there!

    Spree is a bit of a stretch. But I agree about Sam.

    Sam is the best pg in the west and one of the best in the league imo.He's having a great season.I felt that Sam I Am should be starting and not the Franchise but its still good that he is going to the All-Star game for the 1ST TIME.He is one the best PG in the history of the Wolves.

    yeah sam has done an awesome job...i always saw him as a selfish player who was only concerned about stats and shots until this season, where he has proved he can play great for a winning team with star players...he definitely is deserving of the all-star slot...

    Sam Cassell is so deserving of every win, every prop he receives and even more. He was a champion and he still is. He is built as an individual and a team player. He was made to win. The fact that he was able to be an all-star really made me smile. He is a hard worker, who has skill on both ends of the court, unselfish play and the will, determination and capabilities of helping bring along team victory.

    I think everyone knows that Cassell is very deserving, and yes, he is very under rated. And it's always good when you have a guy like Sam on your team, he compliments Garnett perfectly. I give him all my praise for the success of this season.
