    1. Oakland - JaMarcus Russell, QB, L.S.U.The Oakland Raiders need a franchise play caller. Starting a rookie is always risky, but hey, it's an upgrade over Aaron Brooks.2. Detroit - Jamaal Anderson, DE, ArkansasMike Martz let the cat out of the bag a little by saying drafting a QB in the first round "does not figure into the Lions' plans." What does figure into their plans? A lock-down DE.3. Tampa Bay - Calvin Johnson, WR, Georgia TechTampa Bay will look at Brady Quinn, and it sure will be tempting. But with Calvin on the board and some hope that Chris Simms will be able to return, the decision is made.4. Cleveland - Brady Quinn, QB, Notre DameThe Browns are set for an epic QB battle between the great Charlie Frye and Big-Foot Anderson. ...or they can accept the gift of Brady Quinn.5. Arizona - Joe Thomas, OT, WisconsinOnce in a while the thing you exactly need comes along at just the time you need it and at the right price. The Cardinals will hand the pick over with 14 minutes left on the clock.6. Washington - Alan Branch, DT, ArizonaThe Redskins, at the very least, need to put someone next to Cornelius Griffin but could definitely use an upgrade at both DT spots.7. Minnesota - Gaines Adams , DE, ClemsonMinnesota has yet to get anything to stick at the Defensive End spot despite throwing a lot against the wall. Gaines is a top of the line pass rusher.8. Houston - Adrian Peterson, RB, OklahomaHouston has had some bad trouble with star RB Domanick Williams and his injury history, so it might be a bad fit to add in an injury prone RB, even though his skill level is tops.9. Miami - Amobi Okoye, DT, LouisvilleThe average age of the current Miami DT's: 57. Amobi is the polar opposite of what Miami has, but is exactly what they need: Youthful & Energetic.10. Atlanta - Reggie Nelson, DB, FloridaAtlanta needs a playmaker pure and simple. Nelson can be a top notch FS or a great cover-corner depending on team needs. He's a ballhawk who QB's will fear.11. San Francisco - LaRon Landry, S, L.S.U.The 49ers' defense needs a ton of help. LaRon Landry is the best defensive player on the board and will help their D improve from the top-down.12. Buffalo - Leon Hall, CB, MichiganBuffalo might lose Nate Clements, and even if they don't they need to put someone quality next to him. Hall isn't a burner but he's got excellent instincts.13. St. Louis - Lawrence Timmons, LB, Florida St.The Rams has too much talent to be drafting this low, but they do need a major upgrade at OLB. Posluzny's game-smarts will be tempting here, but Timmons just has too much physical skill to overlook.14. Carolina - Patrick Willis, LB, Ole MissDan Morgan is pretty much on the blue-line at this point, so it's time to bring in his replacement. Patrick Willis tends to over-pursue at times, but he's usually where the play is and that's a good sign.15. Pittsburgh - Darrelle Revis, CB, PittsburghThe odd thing about the Steelers is that they don't have many needs. The one thing they do need, Interior Linemen, isn't of value here. So they'll upgrade a want instead, the secondary.16. Green Bay - Dwayne Jarrett, WR, Southern Cal.There is going to be a lot of pressure for Green Bay to take a RB, but Jarrett's value is too high to pass on here, especially with quality RB talent available later.17. Jacksonville - Dwayne Bowe, WR, L.S.U.Jacksonville has invested a lot of time and effort into the WR position, only to end up with fairly Mediocre play. Bowe has shown he can dominate against the best with great routes and body control.18. Cincinnati - Daymeion Hughes, CB, CalTory James is over the hill, and Dethla O'Neal had a pretty big drop-off from last year. Drafting someone to go next to their future Johnathan Joseph will help them out a lot.19. Tennessee - Adam Carriker, DE, NebraskaKyle Vanden Bosch is on the downside of his career, and drafting Carriker here will make a smooth transition from the old to the new, and a sure upgrade in the end. 20. New York Giants - Marshawn Lynch, RB, Cal.Anyone who thinks the Giants can roll without a game-breaker at RB and can just stick with Brandon Jacobs is fooling themselves. Lynch suffers a fall similar to that of Steven Jackson in 2004.21. Denver - Ted Ginn Jr., WR, Ohio StateWith long-time mainstay Rod Smith on the decline, bringing in Ginn to be the game-breaking slot WR and eventual replacement isn't such a bad idea.22. Dallas - Levi Brown, OT, Penn. St.Levi Brown is a superb Right Tackle prospect with the ability to possibly play Left Tackle. Which is good because Dallas needs an upgrade and some youth on both sides of the line.23. Kansas City - Ben Grubbs, OG, AuburnWith Levi Brown being stolen out from under them, the Chiefs will turn to their 2nd biggest need: Finding some interior offensive linemen. Grubbs really helped himself at the Senior Bowl.24. New England (via SEA) - Quentin Moses, DE/OLB, GeorgiaWith nothing but a group of old men (outside of Banta-Cain) at LB, it's time to inject some youth. Moses can be a dynamic edge rusher to put pressure on the QB.25. New York Jets - Victor Abiamiri, DE/OLB, Notre DameWithout a RB of value to take here, the Jets will turn to the best player available that they can use and add in Abiamiri, a pass rusher with enough bulk to be a 4-3 DE.26. Philadelphia - Sidney Rice, WR, U.S.C.The Eagles might lose Donte Stallworth, and if they do they'll need to add someone in who can pick up the slack. Rice is a playmaker pure and simple, and will do well with McNabb.27. New Orleans - Paul Posluzny, LB, Penn. St.The Saints have a lot of raw physical talent on their team; so adding a man like Posluzny, who is pure guts, leadership, and instincts, will give them someone to rally around.28. New England - Buster Davis, LB, Florida St.With the defensive line the Patriots have on lockdown for life, Buster Davis will have no problem doing what he does best: filling the gap and stopping the run cold.29. Baltimore - Justin Blalock, OG, TexasBaltimore might or might not bring back Adalius Thomas. If they bring him back, their next move will be to add in youth to their front five.30. San Diego - Michael Griffin, S, TexasIf San Diego has one position that is lacking physically on their defense, it's at the Safety position. Griffin has a tendency to bite on the double move, but otherwise is an outstanding prospect.31. Chicago - Robert Meachem, WR, TennesseeGiven that the Bears are in love with Sexy Rexy, they'll be wise to put some tall, fast, playmaking weapons in front of him. This might be a bit of a reach, but it's what they need.32. Indianapolis - David Harris, LB, MichiganThe Colts desperately need to get some LB's who can stop the run. Harris is a big, fast, powerful man who has no issue taking on blocks and doing what he needs to to get to the RB.

Personally I think I'd prefer Blalock to Abiamiri. Personally, I'd still consider Blalock as BPA and we can always turn around and pick up a DE/OLB tweener at 37 like Abiamiri, Woodley, or Spencer. Depending on who's still on the board.

Alan Branch didn't have good stats but is still considered one of the best players in the draft.

Looks like a player on the decline to me...16 TFL and 7 Sacks over the past two seasons, and his stats dropped because he got better and drew double teams but were still respectable his senior season.

I wouldnt mind Landry there since Nelson would already be gone, other good picks right there could be Willis or even Jarrett.

Javon Walker and Marshall are set out wide for years to come, so even if Smith doesn't go into the slot THIS year as speculated, his replacement is already on the roster.

I think the Rams would rather take Willis over Timmons, but who knows. (Willis can play OLB too from what I hear).

So other than Denver, everyone agrees I'm pretty much right. What's funny is that I had Indianapolis with the last pick, but I picked Chicago to win the Superbowl... I was conflicted over the winner obviously.

I'm with Venom here, I don't agree with EVERY pick like I said, but Denver was the only thing that I actually have a problem with. There's a handful of other picks I disagree with, but none are really worth getting into this early.

First of all, we have Brandon Marshall who will be one of the best #2 wide receivers next year, guarenteed...no that we dont have Jake "stare down the number one receiver or throw an interception" Plummer. Second, we NEED D-line help, so quentin Moses would be a better pick. And dont be suprised if we trade up to get Marshawn Lynch or maybe Amobi okoye.
