If you're behind, don't worry about it. I'm not above arbitrarily docking anyone. I was planning on pulling out the negative points hammer for our dear friend Good Hope for claiming victory before the Bulls had played the Hornets at home. The Bulls escaped with the W, alas, and we all live to see another day. Pick 'em or you lose 'em. Too many back to backs. Indiana has the reputation of the midwest division to defend. Atlanta has a thing against us becoming the next young thing, and they'll beat us one of the two times we play. But honestly, I'm worried about Charlotte. Its a stretch of meh, but there are more than enough traps for the Bulls to get caught in. And, really, was the NOH game ever in doubt?
So far, everyone is looking good. The real test is coming up this weekend. Now that we're in first place, will we press? Will our opponents be even more motivated to bring us down? And will Boozer's return be a boost or a slight hindrance (if he's not fully back)?
@ Atlanta looks like the tough game left on the schedule, at least in this stretch. I hate to say this but it looks like the Bulls have a pretty good chance of blitzing 60.
Now, do YOU get negative points if this turns out to be a jinx post? Things are looking good, but if you notice, everybody who made a game by game prediction is still 5-0. Indiana was one I worry about -- for no good reason except that it's the end of a back to back, on the road, and the odds against us going 16 - 0 in our division are low. Atlanta is the other. Boozer coming back worries me, actually. He hurts the defense quite a bit, and if he's not offensively cooking, it's a negative for us to take Omer and or KT out. I actually wonder if we don't start KT against Atlanta, even if Boozer's back...
