I am really excited guys. I think there is a good chance that we could win over 50% of our games from here on out. I think we need to slowly get Baron some PT for him and for the fans. You dont mess with Achilles injuries. Hopefully it is just a bruise and not a strain. I think I predicted for us to win 10 more games this year, but now with Baron and White I think this dramatically improves the talent level of this team. I think we will play small ball and run the crap out of teams. Look for a lot more oops from Davis to Richardson. Look for Dunleavy to gain alot of confidence and actually start hitting his wide open shots. I think adding the presence of a Baron Davis will also make people work harder on all aspects of the game especially defense. Jrich tried calling out his team mates earlier in the season but said himself that he does not feel comfortable doing it until he has all aspects of the game down pat. Baron has that, and I think he will have Jrichs back no matter what. Man am I pumped!
I said 24-6 before and I'm sticking with it. Definetly wiht Davis there chances are improved, to match my prediction. Their 1-0 so far after the break so thats a start.
I think we need to watch the minutes of everyone. Jrich still has those injuries and it's not going to get better with the amount of contact he takes. Same with Murphy and same with Dunleavy's knees. Frankly, I wouldn't mind playing Pietrus and Zarko more. Too bad Skita is a unrestricted free agent and we can't somehow execute a late team option to extend his contract. Rodney White is an all around scorer, but I'm positive fans will not like him because he'll take the ball out of the hands of guys that play both ends of the floor, but on the bright side, he does have post game. Resting Baron Davis more, probably means more DFish bombs with 18 seconds left on the clock. I'm sure we'll enjoy that... Gohn will probably waive him in a few days in the JBB fantasy league Time to bring in Kenny Andersen and claim him off waivers Either that or play Dunleavy at point guard, Pietrus at the 2, Skita at the 3 spot (I'm serious), Zarko at power forward, and Adonal Foyle at Center. I think Skita is more athletic than Zarko but I could be wrong.
I think the Warriors can do pretty good during the last part of the season. If we play the youngin's we can have a lot of fun as fans and we can make more scrubs All-Stars. Hopefully Tskitishvili will be someone like Dirk, Zarko, Bender (without injurys), Andris A Pau Gasol, Eddy Curry, Stromile Swift mix.
7-22. Davis will still struggle with his health through this season, and without Davis nor Speedy, we are just not a good team, because we don't have neither penetration nor post up. To make things worse in terms of win/loss, we will play a lot of young guys, so that will probably bring more losses...
^JinxyMcJKinxalot. Gosh....... I think we will do better than 23 wins the whole year, We will at least get 10 games to go our way. I think Baron's health will not be much to worry about.
I'm with Kwan on that one. We're still missing key elements and injuries have always hampered the Warriors seasons post-Jamison. And I don't consider having Rodney White + Tskitishvilli great depth. The only real way we can compete is if we get another guy who can break down defenses and the only real guy who could do that for is Mickael Pietrus, who has lost the fire all season. We need a low post presence too. We should not trick ourselves into believing that an oft-injured Baron Davis will allow us to survive in the West. If we can somehow get Luis Flores back from Denver, if they waive him, I will be somewhat happy we have an affordable 3rd string guard we can readily use. But I don't like the fact that fisher/dunleavy is our backup pg when we have no shooting guard that can be a dribble penetrator. Jrich simply does not have great lateral movement or ballhandling skills to do what Kobe, Vince Carter or Tmac can do.
