There's a lot of sleeper picks in there, Charlotte with Curtis Withers I think will have an all-american season and Indiana will win to save the job of Mike Davis. Conference Winners (Idea from STCBball3 ) ACC - Duke A10 - Charlotte Big East - Villanova Big 10 - Michigan State Big 12 - Texas C-USA - Memphis Pac 10 - Arizona SEC East - Kentucky SEC West - Arkansas Post your predictions!
Instead of that, I will just predict who I think will win all the major conferences. A little bit different prediction. ACC - Dook Atlantic 10 - Charlotte (closely followed by GW) Big East - UConn ('NovaBC will be right their) Big 10 - Michigan State Big 12 - Texas C-USA - Memphis Mount. West - San Diego State Pac 10 - Arizona SEC - Kentucky

ACC - Duke A10 - Charlotte Big East - UConn Big 10 - Michigan State Big 12 - Texas C-USA - Memphis Pac 10 - Arizona SEC East - Kentucky BTW CK, I honestly believe Kentucky can at least get to the sweet 16. Arkansas really isn't as good as people are hyping them to be. I think they're the 4th best team in the SEC at best behind UK, LSU, and 'Bama. Believe me, Arkansas has a nice core of players with Brewer, Townes, Ferguson, etc, but they really don't have much depth. They're going to need some guys to step up off the bench if they want to be a sweet 16 team...

Winner - Michigan State - Yeah, bias does play a large part in this little prediction, but when you have a team that's ranked in the top four preseason, tell me that you wouldn't be hoping for a title. We've got the talent; it's just a matter of guys like Davis and Brown stepping up and becoming the superstars they've always been touted as. Wow!! No one has UConn in the elite 8?! WOW!! I mean, they are in a bit of trouble for the beggining of the year with their PG situation but once Marcus returns they will be fine. Voodoo Child and Schaddy - how do you guys rank UConn 5th in your top-25 preview but then have one of you leave them out of the sweet sixteen and the other out before the elite eight? I may be a UConn fan but how could nobody have them in the elite 8? Marcus, Denham Brown, Rashad Anderson, Gay, Hilton and Boone is a good of a top-6 as anybody in the nation cept duke.

Marcus, Denham Brown, Rashad Anderson, Gay, Hilton and Boone is a good of a top-6 as anybody in the nation cept duke.</div> First of all, the tournament is completely different from the regular season. Listing the teams I think will be in the Elite 8 is completely different from ranking my top eight teams for the season. Second of all, the rankings that Schaddy and I did were team effort, so don't assume that because Connecticut was #5 in our consensus rankings that if I did my own rankings they'd be in my top five, or even Schaddy's for that matter. Also, I think that teams like George Washington, Michigan, Arizona, and Indiana will finish the season with a really strong momentum after the first semester when they bring back Koundjia, Petway, McClellan, and White respectively. All of those teams got knocked down a notch in our rankings because of their losses, but by the end of the season all of those players should return. We didn't knock UConn down too much for not having Marcus Williams, because they play an incredibly easy, cupcake non-conference schedule for the second (or third) year in a row, and so not having a point guard won't matter too much.
I'd like to know why a few of you don't even have Kentucky in your Sweet 16. I know they lost Auzbuike and Hayes, but they have guys that are ready to step in and produce. The #1 JuCo transfer Rekalin Sims has looked great thus far in exhibition games and 2004 McDonalds all-american Joe Crawford is definitely ready to take the load at 3-guard where Azubuike previously played. Then you have to look at how much depth they have; they'll likely play 12-13 guys each game, because Tubby really likes to go to the bench. He has some greats talent to work with as well...so you guys better watch out for this Kentucky team...

Possibly three sophs in the starting lineup this year for Kentucky and it will question Spartks' leadership. For you guys to make it I'd say Rondo, the ball-hawk that he is, would have to play amazing to lead them to the sweet sixteen. <div class="quote_poster">Quoting Voodoo Child:</div><div class="quote_post">"PTPer" is a term popularized by gHay dookies like Dickie V. Crawford, Rondo, and Morris were all McDonalds all-americans for a reason and I think they'll show that this season. Well, Crawford and Rondo will at least, no one even knows if Morris will play or not...it really doesn't matter who starts, because Tubby always subs 3 or 4 guys off the bench at the 16:00 minute mark, then just keeps subbing players in and out after that. I just don't understand why UK can't be at least a sweet 16 team...I guess they have a lot to prove then, because you all seem to not think they're a top team this year...
