With the government doing absolutely nothing at all to create jobs on a meaningful scale, and now deciding to cut funding for millions of families barely surviving on unemployment insurance, you can expect a crime wave like this country has never before seen.

Home invasions, robberies and burlaries will become a daily threat for most big city folks, and the streets are rapidly filling with people who are off their meds.

Once you've lost your job, your home, your life savings, and can't afford healthcare for your family, the gloves come off and it's every man for himself.

This is why FEMA has constructed internment camps, why DHS has ordered thousands of drone aircraft, why TSA is photographing your body in detail for posterity, why every word you type and every call you make is tapped into. Why the House and Senate are legislating to make it illegal for you to plant your own seeds and grow your own food.

Because this "recession" was planned right along with the invasion of Iraq. It was needed to keep the general populace on their heels trying to survive so they won't have time to pay attention to the active overthrow of their country from within.

Are you prepared to defend yourself in combat against your countrymen and your government? Or do you have an exit strategy (Canada, Mexico, Belize...)?

 

I live in poverty and in minimalism, so I have nothing to worry about.

And it's FUNEMPLOYMENT, not UNEMPLOYMENT.

There's a million people there who'd slash your throat just so they could pawn your pc. And that's when the economy is doing good.

I could see drug addicts being this chaotic if I took away their drugs, but not the poor getting their free ride taken away. I strongly recommend watching the Vanguard series about illegals trying to make it to the US and what they go thru to live in worse conditions than the so called poor.

 

The poor have no moral backbone. I think that's the insinuation here by Maris61. They are scum who will rob and kill you when they have their handouts taken away.

I'm referring more to the former middle-class, who have never relied on entitlements to survive. They have become the new poor, and everything they worked hard to achieve is being stolen from them by the uber-wealthy. Many have never been faced with the threat of death by starvation or exposure to the elements and when all other options are gone "morality" is just a meaningless word.

When faced with survival, you do what you have to do. There is nobody in the world I would not sacrifice to save my family if needed.

If you're forbidden to grow food, or work for food, then you must take it anyway you can get it.

But I am more interested in who here is actually prepared for survival when/if their comfy system of government services turns against them. When their travel is restricted and monitored, when those who voice their concerns are interned without due process. When sniper-enforced curfews are enacted and soldiers come to strip your homes of weapons and wealth.

You mostly appear to be similar to the Jews of the 30's, gullible, meek, and subserviant. We all (should) know how that worked out for them.

 

Hey, I've been warning about the road to serfdom and the rise of the proletariat for quite some time.

When you have the populace rely on the government for all support, the government gets drunk with power and abuses you. They make the rules when you let them.

 

That's not quite the reality of the situation here. We've always had the poor who need assistance, every society does.

This is phase 2. Hard-working, self-sufficient families are being intentionally crushed and fragmented. All but the uber-wealthy are being weakened and disrupted to make Martial law plausible, even justifiable in some people's minds. This is the largest power-grab in the history of the world. WWll was just a bad day compared to what's coming to Americans in the next decade..

 

If they were self sufficient, they wouldn't be in this situation. Many entered into their problems by living a lifestyle they could not afford. They bought big houses they did not deserve but thought they did. They bought fancy cars. The entitlement mentality of this country has destroyed it further than any rich greed.

And so here we are.

I do not see our standard of living increasing, but do not see the wide spread chaos you are preaching. Think I heard the same thing in the mid 90's when we invaded the Branch Davidians.
