Miller is turning into a better version of Callahan who has no passing skills. All Callahan's assists are either from shots or great plays other people make. The only reason he has any assists this year is because he is playing with Stamkos. Can't tell you how many times that greedy pig Callahan screwed up odd man rushes because he couldn't pass. The pass Miller made the other day to Kreider is a pass Callahan could never make in his life. Disappointed the Rangers were so incompetent vs. the Lightning this season. Wonder what they would do now if they played them. End of this trip should tell us whether this team is for real again and looks like a contender. I think a lot of that has to do with Miller. I still feel they need a better left handed defenseman on the bottom pairing.
They are starting to get some secondary scoring from a few other players now. Hagelin needs to remove his head from his ass. He isn't using his speed like in the playoffs. Same as Kreider. Though, Kreider has picked it up the past few games.
We suck though right.... Just busting chops. Maybe you motivated the team dump, since you said that they haven't really lost. Great win. Awesome to see.
The D is fine. And Miller has been playing some great hockey. The team has gotten better once Glass was pulled from the lineup. Tonight might be a tough game on the back to back with Cam in goal, but last night shows us this is a very good team. I still think they need another top 9 forward with size to finish off the team, but if Miller continues to play well, and Kreider has his game back, we can get scoring from all the lines. Fun to watch this team play as well since they get chances and score goals. Really good stuff and a great win to start a tough trip. Split the next two and you have to feel good.
They still suck until I see them play well against deep offensive teams. Anaheim is a one line team. Rangers match up well vs. teams like that because of McDonagh. Against deep offensive teams like Tampa and the Islanders, they have failed miserably.
I didnt see a minute of the game (gotta love those late starts), but doesnt their second line consist of Kesler who's having a great year and Beleskey (17G)? Hard to call them a one line team but I guess we have to find a negative somewhere.
Crazy right Prod. The best team in the league, the team with the most points in the league, and yet dump still finds something to knock. Can't make it up. And the best part is he knocks other posters and here is dump refusing to ever just say the Rangers are a very good team...period. Funny.
If they can start the playoff games at 8-830EST out on the west coast why can't they start regular season games then too? I mean 103opm on a Wednesday? When did it end, 1 am? Damn I'm scaring myself how old I sound....
That's not fair Prod. Finals is one thing, but is it fair regular season they have to start at 5 local time? I wouldn't like it if Rangers games started at 5. With that said, I do think they can start at 10...which would be 7 out West. The puck actually dropped at 10:45 last night. That is crazy.
Do what I do prod and don't stay up just tape it and watch it first thing in morning with nice cup of coffee. I did just that and we looked really good out there. Zucc continues to score and miller with another nice offensive play and pass in the zone to brass. Hank was sharp and team with a great win cooling off the best team in hockey on the road. Looking for back to back with cam tonight
Yeah I hear you guys. I do have it TiVo'd, but my mornings are usually a mad dash. I try to watch them next night but that's no guarantee. I have a buddy who moved to to the west coast about a year ago, he said one of his favorite things is that all football primetime games start at 5:30. No staying up until midnight watching the Giants embarrass themselves on national TV. Must be nice.
Team played with discipline with some gliches in the 3rd period. It was a great watch to see all lines playing a close checking game. Good to see Zucc score. Just wish Kreider could finish more; he definitely has a presence out there. JT has ice awareness...... hope it continues. Team is moving forward and upward.
Miller was ready last year so it's no surprise he's taking advantage of finally getting his chance. I think Fast has also been improving, very strong on his skates. Boyle's finally woken up. PP/PK has improved dramatically and Hank's been on fire. The only imperfection is Glass. Think the late start was due to the game being broadcast nationally on NBC Sports and the Pitt/Boston game preceding it went into OT.
