Damnit, keep losing my previews because when I edit them to do a new one I keep forgetting to make a new topic! I've done this several times!

The Suns don't have a chance against the least talented roster in the league? Thats going a bit too far.Suns have won their last 2 games,a large reason for that is the fact Amare has been dominating.Credit to the Lakers for winning games = 3 starters.Gary Payton has really led L.A well.

LOL, I love how you still refuse to believe this team is talented even without our superstars. Amare has been dominating, right. Brand went for 35 points, and 20 rebounds last night, doesn't get much better than that, and Lakers still pulled out a win, showing that we still play well in other aspects of the game.

BTW: This is off topic, but this caught my eye when I was doing the preview.

Those jerseys are hot! I have the blue one, but I see their advertising these on nba.com so they must be wearing these soon.

    OK, now back on topic.

In terms of everyone else's talent in the league,It is poor

    Jamal Sampson
    Slava Medvedenko
    Kareem Rush

    Are not starting quality

When I look at the Lakers current line-up one thing comes to mind

Lakers take this by a hair. Very close game, with the Lakers making just a few more big plays down the stretch. It should be a good game!

For a whole season, Yeah it would be lottery. But guess what, when I look at the Suns lineup, one thing comes to mind.

Lottery, works both ways doesn't it?

But I still think the Lakers will come out with a double digit victory, also don't forget LA at home. Beat the Cavs there without Kobe for the 2nd half, the Nuggets, and just beat the Clippers there last night. Watch out.

Also, with the way Slava has been playing lately, he is starting quality for some teams in this league.

I say Lakers by at least 1 or 2. Yeah this would be a close game but I say the Lakers take the game early in the 4th

Suns have two stars, some good role players, possible guys with good futures. The wins Lakers have gotten have been impressive (only because who was missing) which I already stated.

However you had a problem with me stating a fact

This line-up has the least talent in the league.

Doesn't mean they won't win this game,I never made a prediction or thought Suns would win.Suns SHOULD win this game, doesn't mean they will.

Although my av/sig scream I'm a Suns fan... I am their biggest critic, I'm always calling out the Colangelos and think every move and player they have suck... I hated Jason Kidd for years while he played here cause I wanted Michael Finley back... anyway I do agree with allnet. Even though the Suns are lottery bound, they are playing much much better than they have ALL year.

Just wait 'til LA sees Barbosa, you don't think Phoenix has any talent cause you haven't seen them, people in LA are so short-sighted and most of you are bandwagon jumpers anyway. I bet Laker fans couldn't name 5 NBA teams... "err... Lakers, Clippers, Kings, Warriors... damnit there's that one starting with an N".

Amare and Marion are better than any player on the Lakers roster right now... Barbosa and Johnson have been lighting it up since the Marbury deal... our center-by-committee isn't Shaq, but then neither is Jamal "WHO?" Sampson.

Against these Lakers, Phoenix wins by 8!! A healthy Lakers team wins by 15... but 2nd stringers can't cut it. By the way Kings are better than a healthy Lakers team!

I've been a Lakers fan for two decades and am pretty much an avid NBA fan, and I'm pretty sure they'll take this one by a hair, AS LONG AS THEY PLAY like they have been minus the last half of the Sac game. Barbosa's stock plummeted before the draft because of his indecisiveness and it has been showing SINCE the Marbury deal, Joe Johnson is so inconsistent, he's such a toss up every night. I KNEW Brand was going to explode, and he did. This is JUST like the Clipper match-up, in my eyes. I think Slava's jumpers are going to bring Amare out and free up the inside for GP, leaving an already gaping hole.

Yeah, they just beat the Clips, Denver in the 2nd half, and Cavs all by luck right? They beat three teams, two who are playing pretty good basketball at the moment, and one with some big men and are the best rebounding team in the league somehow.... but they just can't cut it right? I don't see the Suns being able to beat neither the Nuggets or the Clippers even @ Phoenix right now. You think we are underrating the Suns because they just won two games and are playing the "best basketball ALL season", but the Lakers win 3 with "2nd string cant cut it".... your a joke.

The Suns beat the Clippers IN LA just a few weeks ago... and Phoenix has won 3 in a row (Portland twice and the Warriors) the Lakers recently LOST to the Warriors WITH Shaq, Kobe, and GP!! Phoenix also beat the Cavs (who hasn't?), the win against the Nugs is the ONLY thing LA can brag about.

Band Wagon fans sure are funny... isn't it great how Chicago had all those fans in the 90s who were life-time fans for 20 years... now those same fans are Laker fans for 20+ years :P I'm sure some Laker fans are, but most ARE NOT!!

Band Wagon fans who think 2nd stringers are good are a joke... we'll see, we'll see.

LOL, another Laker hater, the population is expanding day by day. Most of us are bandwagon jumpers? You better check the 'Roll Call' forum, that was a horrible statement. And what in the world are you talking about, Laker fans can't name 5 NBA Teams? At least post something worth reading. Yeah I agree, Amare and Marion are better than anyone on the Lakers team right now, your point? Carmelo Anthony is better than any on the Laker team right now, Brand/Maggette/Q are better than anyone on this Laker team right now, so is LeBron James, didn't have any trouble beating them now did we? Do you even know who Jamal Sampson is? I actually like this guy, he crashes the boards hard every time he's in for LA. And by the way, Barbosa is not 'lighting it up'. Since the Marbury trade, he has only avg 12 points and 3 assists, if you think that's 'lighting it up' just wait until he meets one of the best Point Guards to ever play the game, you got it all twisted.

Your obviously not worth arguing with, you don't even know your basketball, your making Suns fans look bad. First of all, Phoenix has won 2 in a row, Warriors and Portland are both under .500 teams. Lakers lost to the Warriors almost a month ago, and what are you trying to prove by saying the Suns can beat teams Lakers haven't in the past? Where does that get you? Are you trying to say the Suns are better than the Lakers? I actually thought you were a good poster, and knew your basketball from what I have seen, guess I was wrong. [IMG]

scorbutic, quit being such a "blind" die hard. I have been a 20+ year fan, McAdoo/Wilkes era for the Lakers. I remember when Larry Nance WAS Amare. The Suns have almost the SAME team composition as the Clippers, and I'm not saying one is better than the other. A banger at the 4, a good wingman 3 that can drive/shoot, center-by-commitee, and shaky guard production.

First off I'm not a Lakers hater... I just think it's stupid to say THIS team is good... you guys are arguing with ALLNET, and I just made a statement 99% of people who know basketball would say. I know you've got to back up your team, but catch up with reality. The Lakers are the BEST team in the league while Webber is out... I'm not saying the Suns are better than the real Lakers, but they ARE better than THESE Lakers.

    <div class="quote_poster">Quoting Purple N Gold:</div><div class="quote_post">First of all, Phoenix has won 2 in a row</div>
Check a newspaper the Suns have beat Portland, Golden State, and Portland in a row... hmm... that's 1, 2, 3, yup that's 3!! Where do you get 2 from? You forget they beat Portland a few hours ago?

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Purple N Gold:</div><div class="quote_post">what are you trying to prove by saying the Suns can beat teams Lakers haven't</div>
I don't know... what was Phreeze trying to prove by naming the teams LA has beaten? I was just playing the LA game of naming off teams your team has beaten... he said Phoenix couldn't beat teams they have beaten, and I named teams LA didn't beat that the Suns have.

Phreeze, well I can only argue the facts... so I proved the Suns have beaten those teams. Now you are trying to prove the Marbury-less Suns can't beat teams they haven't played. You can THINK those teams can beat Phoenix all you want, and that's all I'm saying... I THINK the Suns will beat the Lakers because the players the Lakers are suiting up are less talented (echoing allnet's view) than the Suns team.

bustedryde, since when am I being a BLIND DIE-HARD? Did I say the Suns would win the Championship? No. I just commented that I THINK the healthy Suns are going to beat the injured Lakers. That's when all these Band Wagon fans jumped on me telling me I'm an idiot and don't know anything... yet if the Spurs, Wolves or Kings lost 3 of their best players, you guys would be saying the same thing.

You name teams the Lakers have beaten, it's fine. I name teams, I'm being irrational. You defend the Lakers, 'tis okay. I say the Lakers are injured and the Suns will win, and I don't know anything about basketball? I know I'm in foreign territory here (Lakers forum) so I'm going to be attacked which is fine, but don't misunderstand me. Lakers are good, THESE Lakers would have the #1 pick in the draft if they played with this roster for 82 games. You guys are being blind die-hards... but don't worry Shaq, Kobe, and Malone will be back soon and you can claim you were right even though I never said the Suns could beat THOSE Lakers... only THESE!!

But I'm stupid and don't know anything... I can't believe I stated that a team with an all-star in his prime and rookie of the year could beat a team with 3 of its best players injured.

Barbosa had a 27 point game, a 20 point game, and 2 16 point games in the last 7 games... sorry it's not Sampson's 9 point explosion or anything! But Barbosa's defense is what I've been impressed with... something that doesn't appear in those box scores. Anyway we can argue 'til tomorrow night, it's just not going to matter, I'll still be stupid on this forum and you guys are "right" to think 2nd stringers are going to beat the Suns, and win the Championship!
