Carey Price's first start as the Canadiens' undisputed No. 1 goaltender could have gone better. A lot better. Price played exactly 30 minutes and he gave up four goals on nine shots as the Boston Bruins took a 4-0 lead and then held on for a 4-2 in the first preseason game for each club. Price couldn't be blamed for all the goals, but the Bell Centre crowd let it be known that he won't be getting an easy ride this season. There were boos after Patrice Bergeron scored the second of his two goals and mock cheers after Price made "saves" on a couple of long dump-ins from centre ice. The Bruins took an early lead when Nathan Horton scored at 1:36 of the first period on a shot that Price probably should have stopped.
