Mmm if its 27-31 then look forward to Lebron living up to the hype! Bar injury and bad team trades of course lol.
Its hard to say when someones in their prime though. The whole league doesnt get better as soon as they turn 27. Some players are only good till about 25 then theyre athletism isnt as good and they dont play as well.
Most players by the age of 27-31 are knowledgeable of the NBA, how it works and know how to handle everything so they can just concentrate on there basketball.

Well when players used to come out of college at 22-23 they would probably peak at 27-32 with less tear on their bodies.

With players coming out of highschool and entering the nba, it will be interesting to compare how a players body when playing more years younger out of highschool vs. 4 years of college then dealing with the wear and tear of the nba. Maybe there is no difference, however I must admit I can see a co-relation between players going to college and their maturity levels.

My guess on peak years, 26-32. Its just a guess.

you can't really put a number on when a player reaches his prime. IE, Jordan was in his prime for 13 years.lol

ya.. i think so too... a good example is Tracy Mcgrady... right now hes just had a back injury, when he had a knee injury... I think tracy is almost done with his prime, if he keep getting injured... i bet that if tracy was in college.. he wouldn't have gotten injuries...

KG's Prime was the previous three years.. and all of a sudden hes getting 3 less rebounds a game.. I dont know how that happened..

Jordans prime was his rookie year to his last year with the bulls.

TMac's prime is still happening, started in Orlando obviously

Kobe is counfusing me with up and down seasons, but I think its safe to say hell be in is prime for another 2 - 4 years

    Shaq is deterierating

AI appareantly just entered his prime last year, and this year hes way better (4 more points and on 45% shooting to)

This was a stupid topic to bring up
