After struggling for eight games, Prince, a second-year forward, had a career-best 24 points, making 10 of a career-high 17 shots, in the Pistons’ 102-100 overtime victory over the Miami Heat on Monday night. “If I said no, I’d be lying,” he said. “It affected me a little bit, but it was just a matter of time before I got my legs back and rejuvenate myself and respond like I did tonight. “That was a tough seven- or eight-game stretch. I ain’t about to go through that no more.” </div> Full Story
Ive noticed the NBA hasn't been calling Tayshaun Prince name very much. If the Pistons hit in all areas... they truley are as good as those Western Conference Power House teams.
Great job by Prince. Just when everybody began to become annoyed by his off nights, he gives us a career night. Now if he could only get some consistency and put up 12 per night. It will happen eventually, but lets see how soon.
Ah man, I forgot to post it here, but I predicted it too all my friends that Tay would go off, for 24 points! Damn I shoulda posted it here. But he played a outstanding game, hope it continues.
I may not be watching enough but Prince doesn't look like he has a midrange game at all. I think if you add that to his repetoire he could be very dangerous
Tayshaun was a pretty big steal for the Pistons. It's a real credit to him that he could earn the starting spot, and be so good that management passed up on 'Melo for him. I'm excited that he's hitting his shots because the Pistons need big production from everyone to be successful. I think he'll definitely keep this up; it's what he has been capable of all along.
