Link Prisco has expanded on his moronic top 50 players list by ranking the top 10 players by position. As usual he ignores production, and looks for hype.
Running Back is the only section that looks like major suckage to me... Well, that and the fact that he lists Vick as a better QB than Favre. Eh...not so much.
I'm not so sure I'd put McNair in as high as he did. Respect-wise? Maybe, but not production-wise. I also don't like the fact that Manning was rated higher than Brady. When Manning can prove that he can win the pressure games, then he deserves to be #1. Right now I got to go with Brady (even though skill-wise I think Manning is better...but QB is more than skill).

Right now I got to go with Brady (even though skill-wise I think Manning is better...but QB is more than skill).</div> I like you style VF1...because Brady has out classed Peyton whenever they meet but with the year that Peyton had last year regardless of big game play its tough to argue with either as the top guy...the ones that kill me are Shockey at 3 for TE's and Bibba Franks in there as well is just Stupid...where is Jermain Wiggins..the guy was nasty last year and at this point I'd put Daniel Graham over Franks though neither is top 10. Also What about Eric Johnson...I'd say take LJ and franks off and add in Wiggins and Johnson and move Shockey down to the 8-10 range. I like his receiver list besides Coles...maybe after this season but not right now...I'd rather see a Drew Bennet or Mushin Muhammed ahead of him as of right now. Then theres the running back situation...remove Fred taylor and insert Corey Dillon and we have a decent list...just drop lewis and portis a little because Priest Holmes is better than both on one leg...there are a few other guys who have an argument...Ex. Domanick Davis but I like the overall list if you add dillon. The other thing is that the patriots didn't get one offensive lineman in there...we produced a 1600 yard back and a QB thats lucky if someone breaths on him but not one guy makes it...I don't think we have a true dominent takle or gaurd but Dan koppen deserves to be in the top 10 center wise...all he has done is start both seasons he played and have sackless run in the playoffs his rookies season on the way to the superbowl.
