The dumbest Pro Bowl selection this season is without a doubt J. Trotter....what an impressive season this joker is having....66 whole tackles an a sack, wow, what a stud....Ive already heard some of the Eagles fans justifying the selection by saying that hes only started the last 5 games and played great in those starts....a look at the numbers reveals 33 tackles and no other stat in those games....man, those are killer numbers.....Here is a look at the players that deserved to go to the pro bowl before Jerimiah Frauder.... Frauders numbers: 14 Games 66 Tackles 1 Sack Urlacher 9 Games, 69 Tackles, 5 Sacks, 1 INT Nick Barnett 14 games, 105 Tackles, 3 Sacks, 1 INT Dat Nguyen 14 Games, 89 Tackles, 2 Sacks, 1 INT, 1 FF Derek Smith 12 Games, 91 tackles, 1.5 Sacks Isaiah Kacyvenski 14 Games, 75 Tackles, 1 Sack, 1 FF There are more, but I got tired of looking them up....
hey ur preaching to the choir beef, i dont know how he got there i said b4 the only reason i thought up of was that hes played great since hes started adn the coaches and players saw that and voted for him...
Or a million fans voted for him based on his name instead of his production, hey it got Mike Alstott to the Pro Bowl 10 times....
no no dont give me the popularity, cuz ill give u its a popularity contest to begin with so why wasnt he voted in the 2years since his last pro bowl then?
Other Pro Bowl snubs... - Corey Dillon - Jevon Kearse - Sean Taylor - Brett Favre I could go on, but I hate the Pro Bowl too much...
I cant make a case for any other running back after Tomlinson got snubbed last year with 1600+ yards rushing, 100 catches and 725 yards recieving....that was the mother of all RB snubs....
There are a lot of patriots defence that got snubbed. 9 picks from the eagles? come on now? for a team that isn't going to the supper bowl. especially now that to is out for the rest of the season. i hate the pro bowl too...

Why is it bad that the best team in the NFC sends the most players? And just because YOU think they're not going to the Super Bowl, that makes a case not to send players to the Pro Bowl? Good point, I wish I could think of something as stup..smart as that. Anyway, Trotter has done more of an impact than stats. Those are good points Beef, but Trotter played special teams up until week 10 I believe. Since he's gotten the start on defense, Eagles rush defense has been amazing. Only guy that rushed 100+ since then was Tiki Barber, and it's not like we've been going up against some joke RB's. Week 10 - Eddie George: 39 yards Week 11 - Clinton Portis: 37 yards Week 12 - Tiki Barber: 110 yards Week 13 - Ahman Green: 37 yards Week 14 - Clinton Portis: 80 yards Week 15 - Julius Jones: 80 yards I guess that's how you can build a case for him. I was definetly surprised to see him on that list, but whatever he's in. He's averaging 7.8 tackles a game as a LB, and I'm not counting his assists. So that's something else you can take into account. Personally I'd say selecting Vick over Favre is really the killer here, but that's just me.
I didn't know there were enough "professional" football players in the NFC to field a team for the Pro Bowl.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (BrianWestbrook)</div><div class='quotemain'> Anyway, Trotter has done more of an impact than stats.</div> Spoken like a man backing a player who didnt produce enough plays to make pro bowl.
i think that all of us are smarter than the coaches and players that voted Trotter, so i guess all of us should be in the NFL cause obviously we all know more than the coaches and players that voted for him ok...

Finally they have admitted that he just isn't that good.
I agree with you, but I can still see why he was voted into the pro bowl. Oh well, it'll never be perfect
