I'm hearing a lot of news that Mike Martz and Ron Marneli aren't seeing eye to eye. That can't be good. If you coaches aren't on the same page your not going to be any good. Not that the Lions were going to be good to begin with but I believe the NFC North is for the taken despite Chicago's great peformance a year ago. I think it's Chicago and then any of the other 3 can push the Bears and without an offense the Bears could struggle. So anyone else hear any news on the relationship Marneli and Martz have?
If you disagree with Marinelli about anything, he will fire you on the spot....so the story isnt likely true....but even if it was, what does it mean? the Lions win 1 game instead of 3?
I mentioned in the NFCN predicitions thread that Martz' ego would not allow him to play 2nd fiddle for long. I thought it would be October before chinks in the armor would show.
