Why is it that the FA doesnt just come out and state facts about their 'proffesional' refs? Everyone saw last night a blatant penalty (Ljungberg) and also a very strong appeal for a second (Alliadiere, so why were none given? I feel Poll has just made yet another fool of himself. Second point, why, if the refs are pro aren't they at or near a similar level of fitness to the players? They must train every day, they have no excuse not to, they are paid to. Poll, last night, looked nothing like a fit pro, even Ronaldo on a bad day looked slimmer. Thirdly, why cant we all see the refs come out after the game on TV and explain their decisions? The players have to, the coaching staff have to, so why not the officials? After all, game after game they are making some absolute balls-ups! I think the FA have to do something! Video technology should be brought in, referees need to make the correct decisions, assistants should assist instead of the ref making the decision and then sticking the flag up and the FA should admit their downfalls. It frustrates the hell out of me to watch the game being spoiled by these so-called 'professionals'. SORT IT OUT!
I don't know why Poll hasn't been sacked yet. He always seems to make the wrong decisions and has had a crap match on more then one occasion! Remember the world cup were he booked the same player 3 times in one match!!! looks like the FA have to relook over their Refs!
